    220lbs.

    Yep

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tan Hauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die

Ok here's how I see it.

Plates are generally talked about in terms of 20kg, so milestones are mentioned in terms of 'plates'.

So good milestones are a 2 plate shoulder press, 3 plate bench, 4 plate squat, 5 plate deadlift.

But my gym is a bit old fashioned so the plates are in lbs, and the 20's are actually 45lbs.

I only realised therefore that what I thought was 100kg (2 plates each side) is actually 101.81kg, which when you extrapolate this up to 5 plates a side = 224.5kg intead of a nice easy 220kg.

    So in my gym 100kg = 224lbs

<apologies in advance to those who thought this may be something perhaps a little more significant.....>
