10ml Vials

Hi MT's
I just need some advice on 10ml vials, apologies if any of the questions seem obvious I'm just looking for some further opinions ..
 
1. With 10ml Vials ie 10ml Test E, if drawing 1ml per week how much does this equate to in mg? I'm looking to use 500mg per week
2. Secondly, do the 10ml come with a cap to re seal after drawing your weekly dosage?
I've previously used 250mg vials and this hasn't been a problem so any advice on using the 10ml's will be much appreciated
 
And on a seperate note; Can anyone recommended a lab to go with for a long estered test UG or pharma? (if lab discussion is allowed!)
 
 
 
 
 
 

The 10ml multi-dose vial will state the dose per ml on the vial mate, they differ.
The vial will have a rubber stopper which you put your pin through to draw the liquid out, it reseals when the needle is withdrawn.

I thought that how the vials would work along those lines. So now I just have to look at the doseage per ml which helps.
 
Anyone have any advice on labs?

Your source should be able to tell you what he has and what the dose per ml of the vials are mate.

Vials are just a container for the chemical that is suspended in the oil withing. The containers can by definition contain many different solutions. Each solution will have a set mg/ml associated
 
If for example it is 250mg/ml that means a 2ml amp with have 500mg in it. If a 10ml vial it will have 2500mg in it and if a 20ml vial it will have 5000mg in it
 
If 500mg/ml then double the above

Sorry for the hijack, I've only ever used amps, if when using Vials,and I want to draw 2ml of oil out, do I have to inject 2ml of air into the Vial beforehand?

Although many do this to make drawing liquid out easier by creating pressure in the vial, I personally prefer to warm it first which usually makes it easy enough to withdraw because you risk potentially contaminating the gear with something from the air injected. I try to get as much as possible out without doing this, then only do it towards the end of the vial if I have to to get the last out.

You shouldn't have a particularly strong vacuum created from drawing just 2ml out. It should draw relatively easily in a decent bore pin - say a 19gauge.

Ye I accidently popped the rubber bung off a fresh 10 mil vial by pumping 1ml of air in, bloody hell it made me jump not to mention spilt a load of oil down myself.

That's sound advice fellas.
