1st Routine post. 24 February 2010 17:02 (permalink)
Did legs today. Thought I'd post. Moving forward slowly and loving it.

Squats. 3 sets@ 10/8/6 reps. 60/70/80kg

             4 sets@  5/1/5/1 reps. 100/110/100/120kg.

Explosive squats. 3 @ 10. 60/70/70kg.

Deadlift. 2@ 8/6 60/80kg

              5@ 5/1/5/1/1.  110/125/110/135/140kg.

Clean pull. 3@ 10.  60/70/70kg.

Only started around late December so early days still. My max on Deadlift when I started was 80kg. I train Monday to Friday doing different areas each day. Does this routine look ok?

Personally i would put the deadlift with your back day, and build a routine around the 3 main lifts.

    For legs i'd do
    Squats
    explosive squats
    lunges
    straight leg deadlift
