CRAIG PICKERING JOINS TEAM MP
Myprotein is delighted to announce Team GB’s Craig Pickering, one of Britain’s top 100m sprinters, has joined Team MP. Craig is a great addition to the growing number of elite athletes that now choose Myprotein to meet their personal nutrition needs.
The 23 year old livewire is being tipped to flourish in GB colours at the London 2012 Olympics, after transferring success as a youth into medals at a senior level. His dedication to training and his unrelenting work ethic have allowed Craig to make waves at the highest level in Europe. His win at the European Cup with a time of 10.15 in 2007, cemented his place in the sports top flight of sprinters.
With a personal best of 10.14 seconds, Craig is making great progress, but the youngster is set to reach his peak at the 2012 games. Over the next few months, Craig will be pushing his limits with a gruelling winter training schedule in preparation for a busy 2010, which will hopefully see him compete for medals at the European Championships and Commonwealth Games.
Craig commented: “Everyone’s looking forward to London 2012 at the moment, but I’m completely focussed on getting my personal best under 10 seconds. In sprinting it’s important to do all the little things right and I’ve got some major tournaments to concentrate on before the games in London.
“Nutrition plays a huge part in my preparation so I’m delighted to have Myprotein’s support. I’ve been using their products for some time now and I’ve seen a real difference in my performance and training capabilities.”
Craig’s punishing training regime means he’ll be relying on Myprotein to keep him on track with high energy levels and quality recovery periods.
