22 gauge vs 23 gauge needle?

For injecting a mixture of test enan and equipoise, is there any advantage of using 22 gauge needle over 23 gauge? It seems people have a preference for 22 gauge and I wonder why because 23 gauge is a smaller needle and seems it would work for oil based steroids? I was planning on ordering some new pins and have always used the 22 gauge (for test enanthate and eq) but am considering getting 23 gauge if that is suitable.
Thanks!

Yeah, I think I'm going to start using 23 gauge needles too because I keep getting really sore. Not sure how much the needle size has to do with that but it can't hurt I guess!

The 22g is going to be a bit thicker that's all.

Obviously for comfort and to reduce scar tissue it's better to use the smallest pin you can get away with really.

The common consencus is 21g for drawing and 23g for shooting
