700lb (317.5kg) deadlift pb

Lockout was slow, technically not as good as I can do but a 700lb pull weighing 98.9kg.

    Wow, seriously impressive. I weigh a few kg heavier and you put me to shame, ha!
    I think once you improve your lockout weakness your max will be closer to 325 to be honest, so much power off the floor.
     
    What do you think the lockout weakness is due to? Soft glutes? Weak hip/glutes? Are you pulling the slack out of the bar before you pull? Doesn't look like it in the video but it's hard to see it frame by frame.

    Nope...I don't pull slack from the bar...tried many many times but I can't get it to gel with me, I actually lose tightness and speed when I try. Weakness is just a weakness mate...once hitting max weights form will always break down where you leverages are least favourable. I have improved my lockout strength a lot with paused deads teaching me to lock my lats in and get into a better starting position...most lockout issues are from a not perfect floor set up tbh...always something to work on.
     
    Cheers mate, just pulled 302.5kg for a double so nets me I think 320, maybe 322.5kg, goal for end of the year is 340kg with an eye on hitting 400kg before I turn 45 and fall apart lol :)
