will do mate I can't handle volume at all. you will laugh at the minute cos am not sleeping and feeling run down am doing 3 sets in the whole workout! and yes I do ache like fook the next day too!

God thats terrible, you tried any supps for helping you sleep? Yesterdays Training (pull) pull ups 1x8 warm up ice cream makers 4x5 bent over row 4x8 pull ups 4x8 high cable row 4x8 cable press - to cable curl 4x8 - 4x8 The icm's felt strong again, could of done with some more warm up time before though, noted for next time! Chins still felt quite strong as a 3rd exercise, was surprised to still be getting 8 strict reps

Todays Training (legs) Squats 1x20 - bar 1x20 - 40 1x10 - 60 1x8 - 80 1x8 - 100 3x6 - 110 1x3 - 120 1x2 - 130 1x1 - 135 2x1 - 140 SLDL's 3x8 Leg extensions 3x10 bent leg calf press 4x10 hanging leg raises 3x8 Was really happy with the squats, havent managed 140 in a long time. esp maintaining good depth! Felt pretty solid, just need to be consistant with it now

Todays Training (push) BB press 2x8 5x5 BTN press 4x6 DB clean and press 2x8 DB snatch 2x5 10 mins mixed rotator cuff work BW Dips 35,16,15 Decline sit ups 3x10 Bit rushed today  , just had time to blast out the dips to failure for 3 sets after shoulders.

Todays Training (Pull) 500m rowing warm up ice cream makers 4x5 tuck lever holds 4x15s chins 4x8 seated row 4x8 static db hold - db curl 4x15s - 4x8 decline sit ups Felt strong again today, preferred the seated row to the bent over row, stood up a little off the seat for better control. Also enjoyed doing static holds for bi's instead of my usual straight arm press. Used up to 12kg for the statics which wasnt too bad. Legs are still tight and I have 5aside football tonight so will just do some light cardio tomorrow and train legs again on friday. Just booked a last min holiday to turkey today  havent been on holiday in ages!

Yesterdays Training (Legs) Deads 1x8 - 60 1x8 - 80 1x6 - 100 1x6 - 120 1x5 - 140 3x3 - 160 Narrow squats 5x8 Bent leg calf press 4x10 Decline sit ups 3x8 Deads felt good again today, could of probably managed another set on 160 but didnt want to overdo it. Did narrow stance squats instead of fronties because they are more comfortable and feel nearly the same in terms of muscles used for me. Push session later, go work on my shocking bench and press strength

Inc guillotine press 5x8 Bent over cable flys 4x10 BTN press 5x8 BTN Jerk 1 x 60 1 x 70 1 x 75 1 x 80 1 x 85 1 x 90 - hmmm not bad i suppose Arnold press 4x8 BW dips 20,15,15 Decline sit ups 2x10 Hate benching, primarily because i am crap at it  Jerks were ok, 90 felt tough but sturdy, didnt want to push anymore though!

well mate the lack of sleep was more stress from old job and also problems with our appartment (ie being opposite a bar and not having double glazing+many more things) but we have moved back to my mums for the time being so sleep is starting to improve now. tbh though I have found 3 days a week is best for me but doing a four day split so training each bodypart once every 9 days works really well plenty of rest and time to grow!!

Nice work on the BTN jerk I was really getting into those after seeing TONY's vids but had a real struggle trying to recover the bar after the press. How are you doing that? I'd like to be able to just dump the bar if I'm honest

lol I got them from T0NYS vids aswell Id love to just be able to dump it lol. Getting the bar up there isnt too hard so I like to hold it locked out for 5 seconds then lower down to chest and walk it back into the rack. 90kg hitting you in the collar bone is far from pleasureable though  so control it as much as you can! Thats only if your grip isnt too wide though. If its too wide (getting close to snatch grip) its really horrible trying to bring it down to chest so deffinately just dump it then

Todays Training - Randomness Warm up - 500m row Kettlebell swings 5x20 Powerclean + Press 1x50 (bar) Treadmill tabata 20s sprint 10s rest x8 5 mins shoulder rehab 10 mins mixed punchbag work well at least i dragged myself to the gym and did something  My back was still aching a little from deads so I decided to leave back training till tomorrow and just do some sort of conditioning today. Did NOT have the motivation for it at all. Enjoyed the punchbag cos ive never done it before, although i could have done with some gloves

Now then! Been a long time, too long infact! Back in september I started my training for a new job and had little time on my hands to keep up with muscletalk. So I'm no longer a rep for Genetic Edge. My weight training from July to Janurary took a big hit because if lack of time and facilities. Now in my new job and been back regularly weight training for a couple of months and back up to where I was when I started this journal last April. Still the same weight, ish, around 12st 4. Dont have any recent pics but id say im still the same as the pics on page 1. I never change lol, my weight hasnt really changed now in about 5 years, at least! Always been this lean before you ask, genetics are a bitch arnt they Anyway, as the title now says, im biting the bullet because i have the time and facilities to train and eat what i need. Ive been on here for a couple of years now and seen everyone else do it and been getting jealous for too long. so heres my cycle. weeks 1-6 - 30mg Epi weeks 7-11 - 4 caps of mass fx the destroyer per day ( i liked the name  ) nolva on hand. Its my first cycle. starting on saturday, how exiting

Todays Training Flat bench 1x10 - 60 1x10 - 70 2x8 - 80 1x6 - 80 Ring dips 4x6 Inc Guillotine press 3x10 Cable flys 3x8 Push downs 2x15 Underhand pull downs (for tris) 2x15 Bit of core stuff Bench felt good, technique is getting better. Took a sample of NOX extreme today that i was sent from ultralife. WOW it tasted like diesel with some sour sweets in it  god knows what flavour it was supposed to be! Effects wise i felt full of energy, good pump and focus. But think ill just stick to taking beta alanine and creatine gluconate on thier own.

Yeah very long time! Split will be something along the lines of: Back + Bis Chest + Tris Legs + Shoulders But sometimes i will spread it over 4 days and do legs one day and shoulders and arms on the other.
