A plea for help! Is there really anything I can do to help my boobs? Are they doomed?

A plea for help! Is there really anything I can do to help my boobs? Are they doomed? 24 January 2012 12:18 (permalink)
Please, please take the time to read, I'd be so grateful!

I'm in my early 20s, I'm 5 ft 2 and I weigh 150lbs. I know that's a little too much. I used to weigh 200lbs. When I lived at home, I weighed 140lbs as a 17 year old and my food was heavily restricted by my Dad who was always criticising my weight. When I left home (also at 17), I stupidly relished in the freedom of actually being allowed to EAT, and I gained 60lb in a year. As a result, my breasts ballooned from a C cup to an E cup and I gained stretch marks. The stretchmarks have faded, but it's left the skin on my breasts less firm and kind of... softer. Less tight. Although it's not that noticeable. I fear however, that if I continue to lose weight, they'll shrink even more and my breasts will be saggy and deflated. I don't know what to do!

I'm devastated that I may have ruined my body up by gaining all that weight! Can I lose weight without my breasts being deflated and shrivelled? Do they look saggy they way they are? Is there anything I can do to improve the look of them or give them a lift (exercise, diet, etc)? Am I doomed to just save up for a breast lift?

I'm still continuing to lose weight. I started out wanting to lose 80lbs, and I'm at 50lbs. I want to lose more but am so scared my breasts will look disgusting, I just don't know what to do! They're already a little saggy. I just need to know whether exercising will improve them, or whether it's unlikely?? Also, I have no idea about what exercises or how much! Help!

Boobs are mainly fat so unfortunately they may shrink further the more you lose weight. You can't exercise the boob itself but you can lift the area by working on your pectoral muscles which may help a little. If you find it's really getting you down perhaps have a chat with your Doctor and see if there's anything they can do for you.

Kitty gives great advice and I can't add to it but I'd like to say well done on your weight loss so far! :)

PS Don't forget that good undies can work wonders - OK not much use for nekkid moments but great for shape and confidence before you get to that point!
