ADVICE... 11 January 2012 22:28 (permalink)
I am a 5.8 female who weighs just under 10 stone, around 9.11? I want to loose bodyfat.
Would this diet work alongside weight training and cardio...
Breakfast - 1 poached egg, 1 egg white on rye bread with spinach OR oatmeal and berries
snack  - apple and unsalted mixed nuts (usually almounds)
lunch - Brown rice, salmon and green veg
Snack - Plain greek yoghurt and fruit OR Hummus and veg sticks OR cottage cheesewith oatcakes/cucumber
Dinner - Chicken breast (or other protien source) and veg
2-3 cups of green tea.
I do hot yoga and have signed up for a fitness bootcamp starting next week
I sometimes struggle to get enough calories when eatin 'clean'
any ideas / suggestions would be a huge help
THANKS

I forgot to also add, my portions are small to average size (most people say small) I think the cals are ok normal days but when I work out it would be really low. Am confused as to what to add in?

Have you worked out the total calories you consume on a daily basis? I know it's tedious, but if you know what you consume roughly, it will be a big help to reaching your goals.

I would always advise to look towards a diet high in good protein, good fats and use my carbs more around training days.
I love the smell of steak in the morning...

http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/ this is a good site as mentioned it can be tedious to calculate everything but well worth it in the long run.

You can get amazing results by tweaking your macros and regulating your calorific intake/output.

As above really. The content of your diet looks OK, if a little dull (you can have a range of tasty meals of any flavour and still eat clean).
We need you to calculate yor cals though.
It looks as though you're going to be doing a fair bit of activity on several days, or even every day, so you need to ensure you are only just in defecit by a 100-200 cals. Much lower than that with such a high level of activity may push you to fat storage and muscle fuelling. It's important to eat enough  when you're losing weight.
