Forgive my late arrival to your journal bud, I'm trying to catch up with everybody's eventually...
Your opening post captivated me. I understand it's over five years ago now since your initial write-up there but what an introduction. Know where you're coming from pal with the anxiety issues, I'm still affected by this sort of thing and it isn't nice.
Fast forward to your current performance and you're going great guns. This old gadger is subbing

Some very nice training going on in here mate, that 100kg strict was extremely close, you will probably find it will go up next time. The food is exceptional by the way, are you a self taught cook or is it something you have previously done as a job?

ha! its going to be at least weekly bud! Need to keep a record of everything and pics speak a thousand words :)

the pulled chicken is nice, you can subsititue chicken breasts for the thighs if you need your macros lower in fat, but the dark meat is where the flavour is! i got 2 whole turkeys in the freezer that were reduced just after christmas. Im probably going to make a whole pulled turkey sometime.. probably make about 20 meals each, would take forever to pull it though!

cheers mate. im only going to test my max after another 3 or 4 waves of 531, but yeh it should fly up by then!i watched your goes up a few weeks ago and it was awesome, something i've longed to do!

thanks, i trained in catering when i was in college, but didnt ever follow through with it. Starting in a restaurant brigade you start at the bottom, and i didn't fancy peeling spuds for 12 hours a day! i do regret it now, and one day i may look for something in that field again, but a with young family and that, its tough to leave that security.

Sorry bud, I think I must have got mixed up with your joining date, 2006! One day at a time. :)

Nice big session yesterday, loads going on there. That workout should easily cancel out the pizza fest. If it makes you feel slightly more at ease, I too ate a pizza after my workout last night. A good, productive session deserves a reward.

Firstly, that's a big session mate! Immense work on the volume, you're doing really well. I also like your attitude of focusing on good form and keeping that in check... As we all know, when form breaks down things go wrong, so respect for keeping the ego and form in check. I like your style mate.

Secondly... PIZZA mmmmmmmmmmm haha. Pizza is a weight gain food, and of course most of your weight gain post pizza will be water and will wash away in a few days. Fair play too on leaving a few slices, I find that sometimes after a few slices the magic wears off and it gets boring... Well, sometimes.

Sticking to your calorie goal is the key though, swings in water will happen, but you're playing the long game and sensibly so mate. Keep it up.

thanks bud, yeh bench is my favourite exercise. i just love pressing!

i  brought it in slightly, inline with my overhead press grip. Couldn't get used to it. Maybe i need to try any alterations on a deload workout where im not trying to hit specifics with siezable weight.  this is the first slight change i've made so will persevere. next on my list of technicals for bench is getting an arch going, never done it, i just lay their and press lol

cheers mr wolf.  Yeh form is a big priority for me. Ive got big goals for some big numbers this year( which is going to be quite tough dropping alot of weight at the same time!). i cant be having a silly injury. That would just put the breaks on everything im trying to accomplish including reprogaming my brain to not be a glutton!

and yes your right, pizza! its basically turns me into a giant waterbutt. im just happy i managed it in a controlled fashion, it was planned, it wasnt spur of the moment and i didn't try to savage the poor delivery guys hand off when it arrived!

Kcals are key and very happy with how i'm going !

I should be getting some of the power shoes delivered today, looking forward to it and will let you know how I get on.

There's allsorts going on in that session. Loads of lifting (I DO like the look of these 531's) and treadmill incline stuff too. Great workout by the sounds of it mate.
