ANY PHOTO'S OF before and after 40s to 50s Please

the older you get the more important diet gets. Diet plays an immense part in my quest to keep a decent physique. I haven't eaten a french fry in 5 years, I never eat cake or ice cream. If you go without for long enough you learn to never miss crap food and your taste buds get more sensitive so that unprocessed foods start tasting good.

No doubt about it, I sacrifice quite a bit, but it's a lifestyle and I'm happy with it.

you've got to break it before you can make it. And 5 1/2 stone weight loss is an excellent achievement. Hopefully you took some pics of before and can trackyour progress; it's always fascinating to look back.

Why dont you post up your current pic ?

Don't really have any before pics. At 19 and a half stone I wasn't exactly begging to have my pic taken!

Now 14 stone and 23% body fat which compared to many on here isn't great but compared to how I was is a huge difference. Waist is now 34/36 inches when it started out as 42/44.

Hoping to get down to 15% body fat or below this year, and then I might feel OK about posting a pic

Here goes i am not much good at posting pictures so if it goes wrong please bear with me,
This is a picture of me aged 42 in 2007 training was going good looking to compete later in the year, then my life got turned upside down, moved down south, started working for myself, tore my hamstring. (Nice) Having started training down here not knowing anyone but the other half last year, (2009) i see a poster for a local competition, at thorngate hall, turns out a member off here was competing so i went along said hi (Incredible bulk) he won his class and overall. and it made me more determined that i

And this is a picture of me last week i have 5 months untill competition, I know i have an up hill battle to lose body fat and hold onto muscle at my age (45) but i am going to give it my best shot and i will be on that stage, I am currently 18st 9lbs.

I can get lean but it was back when i was 42 sorry about photo its the only one i got, my bodyweight was around 15 +stone here

Yes Northern Rocker the competition is in July so thats 5 months to get lean and keep some size, Looking at your photos you might be the man to help with my diet I by no means expect to do well but i will give it my best shot, this is something i have set myself to complete this year and i will be on that stage come what may. looking at your photos gives a person like me inspiration, if you can look like that at your age then there is hope for me, And i think when i get lean i will try and stay that way even on a bulk, as i am not looking foward the diet and cardio to get lean,   

Well worked it out just about. This is me 6 weeks ago. I am looking at losing a bit around my waste and just looking a bit sharper. I will post another pic of me a few years ago when I find one.

I have a before I lost over 5 stone plus pic and one of me now. The first pic was taken in May 2008 and the second one Dec 2009. I am now working out, and will keep you posted. Hope you don;t find this too scary.
