Going to the gym today as I've got nothing else on

Did Muay Thai on Monday, 40mins of conditioning/streching to begin with and woke up this morning with the most killer DOMS in my Calfs...not cool

Today had a **** session in the gym, went at 9:00pm cause I assumed that no-one would be there so I could get everything done....turns out every man and his dog is there so I was unable to do my planned workout so just cobled together a shoulder workout with some hams thrown in...it's **** like this that ****ed up my chances of winning the shape up.

Muay Thai again tomorrow.....should be painfull/tiring/insert other description

Train at Liberty Gym in Sneiton, opposite Nottingham Arena

Liberty is 120quid a year for Students and a guy in my halls trains at Hoofers and i think he paid 250? or something like that anyway....all depends on what you want doesn't it.

do you train in the Uni gym? probably seen you there

Yeah I am training there next year, so much better then the Uni gym....although it is rammed at Peak times though...good gym, good staff and good members (for the most part)

Uni bicep boys !!! lol. What uni is it?

We have two gyms at Leeds met uni, a commercial gym with the "bicep boys", then the proper gym with squat racks and bench and heavier dumbbells which has all the coaches with the rugby boys etc training. Certainly not bicep boys in them parts. Do you not have seperate rooms at uni?

Nottingham Trent Uni mate.

And no we have one gym on the city campus...and one at the clifton campus which is apparently better but to far away for me.

Uni gym has no squat rack, only one smith machine and 2 flat benches for dumbells, no olympic bar...a shed load of **** machines and a load of cardio.....it's proper ****, which is why I don't train there

Right, kickstarting my journal again and am actually gonna keep it maintained

My 'cut' partially started 2 weeks ago when I started doing 2 cardio sessions a week just to ease me back into it...will be building up to 3 and then 4 sessions over the coming weeks.

starting weight is 14stone, 200lbs or 88kg, whatever you want to call it, aiming for about 13stone....or whenever I start to look half decent really.

Also going on holiday in about 8 weeks so I need to at least look in half 'beach worthy' condition....sounds shallow I know, But I haven't been on a proper holiday like this for 4 years so I might as well make the effort.

Complete measurements will be taken tomorrow but from the measurements I took a few weeks ago I was something like the following

Biceps-15.5 inches
Chest-42 inches (tensed) 40 Inches relaxed
Waist- From belly button 36 inches, But I were 32/34 trousers so I'll say 34
Left Quad-21 inches
Right quad-25 inches
Calfs-17 inches.

again official measurements will be up tomorrow....I will also be entering this years shape up for extra motivation. and hope that the fact I am starting before everyone else won't go against me.

So theres the shocking pictures of my out of shapness.....things can only get better I guess

Just did my first cardio session in my Uni gym, I have never sweated so much in my life, windows 360 degress round made it like a greenhouse in this heat, I honestly thought I was going to die when I was walking back

25mins Cross Trainer
15Mins Bike

Lots of talent about though, which made a nice change.

today has also been the first day in a while where I've actually had a 'clean diet' this will no doubt change over the next 4 hours though

haha I know what you mean about the uni gym in the summer but do you think they actually thought about this when they built/designed the building?

Take it you've been spending your days in the arboretum....dosser.

Good luck with the cut mate.
