In fairness I don't mind some metalcore, I like Lamb of God and Chimaira, and I'm also quite partial to a bit of Waking the Cadaver. And I guess you could call a lot of Slam death metal bands as having something to do with metalcore at least, Devourement, Cephalotripsy, Vomit Remnants, etc. are all great, but a hell of a lot heavier than most metalcore/deathcore.

Do you ever listen to regular death metal?

Waking the Cadaver are terrible...just as bad as Carnifex and Whitechapel

Chimaira are awesome, saw them live 2 years ago and seeing them again in March supporting Trivium (along with Whitechapel)

Not really a fan of Lamb of God, but was going to go to their UK tour this month because Job For A Cowboy and August Burns Red are supporting but I couldn't warrent the travel just so see a 20mins ABR set, they need to do a full UK tour.

Listen to a band called Cryptopsy, particularly the album 'None So Vile', it was credited with sort of 're-vamping' the death metal scene in the mid-90s, great production values, but not overproduced like so many bands. Plus lots of breakdowns which are just delish. I'd be surprised if you didn't like it!

Hello mate. Reading your comments in the steds use thread - not being judgmental at all but was wondering how you have progressed strength and sizewise since you started training? Did you keep a record since you started?

Yes Chris I did have one journal before the one I am currently running,I also had a diary in which I moniterd allmy lifts.
