Acne after cycle...

did my last jab 3 weeks ago this friday, thought I had managed to avoid excessive acne throughout my cycle (I am prone) as I only go a few spots on my shoulders and upper back

however over the past few weeks I seem to have aquired a fair load more, I know that Test is still active in your system for 2/3(maybe more) after the final jab but I didn't think the acne would get worse.

what reasons could it be? unbalenced test levels?

i tend to find it is because of hormone levels changing.

For example when you go on, hormone levels change acne can start after about 3 weeks hormone levels settle and your fine, as you come off again hormone levels are again all over the place hence the acne starting again.  (well that is my experience anyway)

I found my acne started in week 6-7, increased in 8 and 9 and now is quite stable. It's been two weeks since my last sus jab. I hope it won't get worse once I start pct or after...

I think it's just impossible to predict how and when it will break out tbh.. I've read a bit on here and people seem to say different all the time ...

Facial acne is what I fear the most though.

i used to have it bad in my teens, which required roaccutane ... worked a treat.

I get the odd spot from time to time now, nothing to worry about but recently I've had a tiny break out on my face which i can't stand lol. Obviously.

Thing is, I don't want to use accutane for what i have now but will order some anyway, just to be on the safe side.

Anyone knows how much i'm supposed to take to keep it away??

I'll be using it from start of cycle next time. Sus was a great cycle, no real side effects, but that acne is a bast@rd !

Yeah that is sh!t mate esp after your cycle when you thought you were in the clear... I too suffer with acne and have done on and off throughout my life.

I get tetrasyl  (limecycline) perscribed by my doc which (if you haven't heard of it) is an anti biotic to treat acne. It is not any way near as harsh as accutane (I was on this stuff when I was about 17 and it was god awful, although it does work) but it does work.

I take tetrasyl about 6 months of the year and am currently using it now whilst on cycle to hopefully combat the acne.
I takes a while for it to start working  but it's really good stuff and would recommend you asking your doc for some mate.

Oh and plus point to taking it is that you can get regular blood tests done from your doc as it can slightly elevate liver/kidney enzymes.

I've been on medication for acne for about 2 years

erythromycin and benzyol peroxide along with sunbeds....not been on the sunbeds properly for a while though, perhaps if I start beasting them again then they will hopefully go away

Used Benzyol peroxide myself in the past... how any quilt covers / pilow cases have you ruined from it? lol

PMSL I ruined loads too when I was using it.
It will most likely strip your tan off too when you start on the sun beds again!

My back acne increased dramatically approx. 3 weeks after last jab. I treated it with a variety of otc stuff and eventually used some Tazorac (.1%) for 2 weeks and it really helped kill off the spots on the shoulders. Just watch it and get them extracted by someone that can see your back better then yourself. Clean them out too cause an infected spot hurts bad... 10 or 20 kill.
