Alcohol drink advice - least acidic and low glucose?
02 August 2011 11:26
( permalink)
Hey guys, so, Ive lowered my alcohol consumption to 1 pint of Guinness a month but Im out to a mates stag do next weekend and wanted your advice on what alternatives I could have to drink. I want to consume alcohol that is the least acidic and has the least glucose in it compared to other brands typically found in bars or clubs and at the same time, get you smashed. Thanks in advance.

Just enjoy the weekend mate - in honesty, if you've not been drinking much for a while, hammering the spirits will just leave you twatted too early on in the night. I'd go with some nice bitters, and just eat a little bit less the following few days, if you're that concerned about kcals.

Barrel, pretty simple. Transparent spirit, low cals etc. Just dont want to top up glucose. Tony - for me its not about the cals, just prefer to keep my body in an environment that is low in acid and low in glucose. Its a lifestyle change but I dont want to be a bore when out, just seeing my options and doing some damage limitation.
