I think there is far too little volume there. Your back and chest are huge muscle groups. At least five exercises are needed to stimulate them IMO. You're not even training legs FFS! I'd recommend following the routine I gave you obviously. What's your diet like?

You're not even training legs FFS! If trying to build mass imo only 3 excercises (around 9 sets not inc. warm up sets) should be enough to build good muscle But I agree, not training legs is something I see alot of people doing now days. I mean why not?? They're muscles just like everything else

I believe im so skinny because in the period of 1-2 years i rapidly grew in height from 5ft and a halfish to my current height of 6ft 1. No you are skinny because you are not eating or training in a way which would help you reach your goal.

ORIGINAL: T0NY I would not be doing any form of cardio at all if I was you. You want to keep as many calories as you can and train hard(but sensibly). Your diet wants to consist of meat, chicken, potatoes, pasta and a heap of fruit and veg, good home cooked food. Just increase your calories util you start hitting 1-3 lbs of weight gain each week. Forget any nonsense about lower carbs on non training days etc. Good, clean advice, I wholeheartedly agree. Agree with the guys talking about legs too, you should train your lower body just as much. Trust me, it all adds up. If you crack on with this you'll be amazed at the transformation in 2 years time. I was once (almost) as skinny as you (no offence ) and obsessed with a 6 pack. Now I have size and a 6 pack and its great

Because i am taking GCSE's atm and work at random times i cant have a strict diet sorta fing so im taking advice to eat 50% more wilst making sure theres lots of meat, chicken, potatoes, pasta and a heap of fruit and veg. I will start a routine for my legs within the week, just need to get some good programs. . .squats?

mate seriously alistair has already written out a very good starter routine, why not give it a go? its all laid out for you. eating wise the thing about not having time doesnt really hold much ground. i work about 10 hours a day solid i get up at 5am-6am and i get home at 7pm. i dont get much time to eat other than mornings and evening so thats when i ram in the food. big breakfast, snacks all day and a big dinner, aim for overall daily calories, ramp up the calories and you will gain weight. i struggle to gain as i burn so much off building all day but you have a golden oppertunity to add some serious mass over this summer.
