WTF it was bad enough some numpty five mins prior was in there doing rotator cuff exercises with 3kg dumbells then kick backs but this just takes the piss. I must add the pic doesnt do it justice they are both very big lumps circa 120kg Power lifters if there t shirts are to be believed but I have never seen them move anything worth while. Looked at me weird when i asked them why they were doing that in very bad french lol.

Haha I didn't work out what the hell was going on until the second post. I thought the legs of the guy doing calf-raises and the torso of the guy sitting on him were one person

I just can't figure out at what point that ever became a good idea whilst in a public gym. If you wanna do that sort of thing then please do it privately in your own homes.

All I see is them living out their latent homo-erotic fantasies without actually admitting they love each other! Still valentines day approaches, perhaps one of them will pluck up the courage to say how they feel and they can take this display of affection to a more appropriate place.

I've seen it a few times in honesty over the years and I am sure they think they look good or something. Seen a guy almost knock himself out doing it. The funny part is the guy on top is probably taking the strain However I can't see why you would do this when you have a leg press directly behind, I assume from the pic. You could load that up with more than 120K and do better controlled calf raises.

The big guyon bottom always has PL shirts on like PL do it in the hole or ****e like that and he looked genuinely surprised when I asked him not to unload the bar with 100kg so I could start my deads which he was struggling to do sets off 8 on and im tiny in comparison. Weird guys. The other guy on top is a grunter makes tonnes of noise shouts and hits thing to get psyched up to lift his 30s on db press haha. STRANGE world we live in

They're doing donkey calf raises which are a legitimate calf exercise and the power rack makes it easy to get into position etc. I honestly don't see the problem. Admittedly it's not really what the rack is designed for and they could probably set something up elsewhere in the gym to allow them to do the movement. On that basis I take your point , but I don't see anything comical or particularly odd about what they're doing. If my computer wasn't playing up I'd post a pic of Arnold with Franco sat on his back at this juncture...;)
No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH - drab4

I don't see the problem either. Donkey raises can't really be done anywhere else unless there's a specific machine of which I've only ever seen once in a gym. We've done them in our gym although try and stay out of the way.

LOL, Can someone photoshop a cowboy hat on the dude on the top with a speech bubble saying "yeee-ha, ride 'em cowboy!!!" Theres a place for doing donkey calf raises! its called the donkey calf raise machine, ain't having some dude ride me. Unless your training partner is a girl (or 2 of them if you got strong calfs) this excercise in this form should be banned

Aaron Hallett dont see a problem.... Nor do I but I think its ridiculous to over complicate an exercise when there is plenty of other calf exercises one could do. I could lie on a treadmill and do dumbbell presses. Not much point when I can just use a flat bench instead.
