Antifungal FACE/BODY WASH for MMA Fighters in uk????

Does anyone know of a good product in the uk that is suitable for MMA fighters in regards to dermatological/anti-fungal/anti-bacterial body or facial washes/foamers to help prevent staph, ringworm and skin infections?  The only MMA/athletic orientated products I could find that dealt with this were from the US and cost too much to ship.  The two products that US mainly do are: - 1) Mission Fightceuticals and 2) Athletic Skin care, I can't find anywhere online a uk based company that does something like this.

OK my two cents on this as I have had ringworm before.....

Basically it doesnt come down to you it comes down to the gym and the cleanliness of the mats which should be disinfected at the end of every session with dettol or something equally toxic. Its not use cleaning yourself then rolling around in dirty mats or kit for that matter it negates it. Also using too much anti bac stuff is actually bad for you as you dont build up a natural resistance and it rips all the good bacteria off your skin.

So best advice is to make sure your kit is clean and dry particualry groin guard wraps and gloves make sure your clean ie had a shower etc to minimise bring bugs in and also make sure the gym floor is cleaned. Ringworm is a nasty as fook and you dont want to catch it. If someone stink or doesnt wash there kit at the gym refuse to roll with them simple as.

You can get an anti bacterial foam from boots, a large on costs about 6 quid iirc.

Wipe yourself before going into class with it, legs, arms, neck. After class, have a wash then again, wipe same body parts with it.

Soaps suck imo, how will you store it apart from a tupper ware or other air tight container, even then, while its in the box, itll fester in the stuff its picked up while you were washing. Bit of a waste to use the soap then try to clean it after.

Stick to the stuff in a closed air container, like a bottle, then when its out, you either use it or waste it.

I was wondering about the soap stuff. Can Bacteria form on carbolic soap though??

If I were using it, i would be showering at home with it pre training then again after I got out the gym.

I often wonder what exactly I am crawling with after a seesion! lol ;)

After a small fungal infection, a good swabbing of bleach did the trick. Its not ideal, it stings a little, but it gets rid of it quickly!

OMG do not use bleach! Use tea tree at the most, bleach is a probable carcinogen!

Tea tree oil won't get rid of an infection anywhere near as quickly as bleach. I'm not talking about washing in the stuff, only swabbing with a small amount on a q-tip, you'd get more bleach on yourself by cleaning the toilet or drains.

Get Nizoral shampoo from Boots and use it as a body wash, best antifungal you can get over the counter.

Tea Tree is a good shout. Highly Antiseptic, I'm sure you'd pick up a Tea Tree Shower Gel in a Health Store handy enough.

Hibiscrub ask your pharmasist for it. I get foliculitus and this helps. Its similar to the stuff they use to clean you whilst having an op. Use it in shower. Be careful not to get it in eyes or ears though.

I just use the anti bacterila hand wash you get in the oump dispensers like:
http://www.cleaningsuppli...td7T4rQCFW3KtAod6wsAUw

Soon as im out of training I wash my hands with it. trhen when I shower I wash feet, hands then face/hair.

After that I finish evrywhere else with normal soap. Gi gets washed every session too.

Never had a problem so far.
