Anyone else had this rash after excercising?

Wasn't sure where to post this, if it's wrong section can an admin move it please.
 
I'm getting a rash develop after exercising, it started when I was in India, happened about 6 times, it would come on my top of arms, chest, and back, but it would go after 45 minutes or so. It wasn't itchy, didn't make me feel ill, it was just there. (see pics) I've been to doctors since i've been home and they couldn't work out what it is, and since i've been home, I now get it while exercising, then as soon as i stop the exercise within 5 minutes it's gone. I'm guessing it's something to do with the raise in body temperature, but when I was away and it happened it was only in evening times so not when I was hottest in the day. I did ring the doctors to say I'd experienced it again after i've been back, during exercise, they still had no idea as it comes and goes so quick. I've never had it before in my life, only since I was away.
 
Was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this?

Is it raised a little? Could be a version of urticaria??

some of them areas seem to have centers to them almost like insect bites.

Not rasied at all. Just googled urticaria, guess a few of the pictures look similar ish. Just found it weird, i've never had it before, and when I was away and had it, it was only in evening times, but not so often.

Yeah i noticed the left arm ones have bites in the middle. Doctors seem to think it's something viral, as am not feeling ill at all from it.
 
 
Hmm, it's just annoying it's there, will continue exercise as normal and observe it over a few more weeks I guess.

If the 'bite' areas are white and then the rash is perfectly circular around them which then grow to give a large red mass, that does certainly sound like urticaria. Try taking an antihistamine before you next train. If it doesn't show, it could certainly be urticaria.
 
I had this for a few years, it appeared for what seemed like no reason and then completely went of its own accord. Think mine was down to food but it could have been a combination of food rather than one source and it can appear up to 5 days after eating said combination......virtually impossible to find out. I then also got pressure urticaria and would even get it in my knees if I knelt down on the floor. 
 
It can happen for many reasons and in your case it would be exercise induced but could also be to getting hot whilst training.

It's not perfectly circular, it's just blotchy. I guess could be food related, i've never had it before in my life, but I don't really feel my diet has changed much at all. I'll update over the next week and try get some more photos.

Are you saying that the rash appears only when you train and is then gone afterwards?
 
If so I would think its more likely to be some sort of heat or sweat allergy. You could try taking an off the shelf anti-histamine before you train (any hayfever remedy) It could be a reaction to heat, sweat or something environmental such as dust or spores, people often have skin reactions to these things and not always the regular sneezing, eyes watering reaction.
 
The other thing I immediatly thought of was tinea versicolor or a number of other mild fungal skin infections that thrive in hot, humid conditions. In which case something as simple as washing using Nizarol shampoo on your skin after training will treat.
 
To me, the allergy reaction seems more likely, although Im not a doctor and any advice given on Teh Interwebs should not be substituted for proper medical advice as anyone will tell you.

It used to be worse in my teens though, used to get it all over my face all blotchy like a world map.
No idea what causes it though

Yeah I turn the light out with my mrs now as feel it looks stupid suddenly my arms/chest/back turning red haha.
 
I don't know why it's suddenly come, have never had it before, i'm 23 now. It is just the top half of my arms, then around the top of my chest and back.

Heat rash

Ok, so i've tried changing a few things in my diet and no luck. Tried the antihistamines as suggested by someone on here, no luck. It's still the same, comes up while running, then 5 mins after finishing it's disappeared. Anyone else got any ideas?
