I 'started' training at 40, I used to train a little in my teens and early twenties but didn't do anything for about 15-16 years. I will have been training for 2 years in July, but only with the focus on PL since January this year. I'm doing my first Power Lifting comp on June 6th as a Masters 1 under 90 kg Unequipped. It will be years before I'm competitive but hopefully I will have some respectable lifts on the day.

Yes and know, I suppose. I trained recreationally for years and then stopped when I was 40 (opened my own gym, busman's holiday...) and then started again when I was 46. Only started competing as a motivational tool, without any real aspirations.
Winners are just dreamers who didn't quit
