Aunty Passed away, Memorial Verses etc ...

Sadly, 4am yesterday morning, The best aunty I had passed away, After a 6 month battle with lung cancer!

Now, As a mark of respect, I would like to make my own personal verse for her, Have it printed and framed for her.

But im struggling with where to start, I was wondering if any of you knew any sites or verses so that I could change or personalise them to suit!

Anyone?!?

I'm sorry to hear that crack, I hope you deal with it alright... just think of the nice things, good memories, things that made her the best Aunty to you...

Best wishes to you and the family...

I don't know of any sites for what you're asking.. good luck with it.

Write something from the heart.. just try... I think you'd feel better about it in the end, maybe???

Mate so sorry to hear about your loss, my sincere condolonces. I feel your pain, my father past away last year after a 6 month battle with throat cancer and died at 56 and he never got to see my daughter either

Believe me mate I know it is a typical cliche thing to say but time is definatly the greatest healer, it used to piss me off when people used to say it to me but now I realise they were right. If ever you need a chat mate you got my email address.

Here is a good site for you pal http://www.generations.on.ca/memorial-verses.htm hopefully you will be able to sort something with that

    Cheers Mate

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. If you would like to make a poem for her and not to sure where to start....write down words that assciocte to your Aunty, words that come to mind etc...and then make sentences of them etc.

i little whileback i lost a close friend, this is what i wrote for him

    we've been best friends
Ever since we were little kids
so I sit and reminisce on all the things we ever did
    I remember
    All the stupid sh1t I can't forget
Hope God forgive us for our sins
and give me the strength to live
    Far from sensitive
But I'm shedding tears right now
Cause I'm watching you fight for your life
    and I can't help out
Meanwhile, the doctor's shocking your chest
    Checking for breath
I was wit you from the stretcher
    To the hospital bed
    Not believing it yet
    Everybody sad and depressed
    Counting your blessings
Praying and praying, hoping for the best
    Waiting in back
Your mom shes shaking from stress
    Breaking in tears and fear
Cause bruv, she loved you till death
Next thing you know, the doctor comes out
    Just shaking his head
    Nothing was said
But I read it in his face full of sweat
    You were dead
Just all I saw was blood shot red
And I felt a chill through my body
    That I'll never forget
    God Bless You
    RIP

Paul mate I'm so sorry to hear of this tragic loss. From speaking to you I understand what your aunt meant to you and how special she was so I can understand the sense of loss you must be feeling right now.

As Franko said, given time you'll find the old cliche 'time is the greatest healer' to be true mate, in time the pain your feeling right now will be replaced by the loving memory's you have of your aunt, of the time you spent together and of the good things you shared. Right now however the best that you can do is to allow yourself to grieve, don't try to keep it pent up mate, let it out ok.

Just remember mate we're all here for you, don't be afraid to share your feelings my friend if it helps you through this difficult time.

Take it easy mate, my thoughts are with you on this sad day.

My condolences too to everybody else that has expressed their loss on this page, the hardest thing about loving and being close to somebody is having to say goodbye, the most important thing is never to forget how special tat person was and what they meant to you.
