Basketball

I play basketball and my focus is to develope explosiveness, speed and strength. Adding mass is not of high priority because staying agile is paramount, although a little added mass would not be the end of the world. Which OTC steroids would you recommend and is there anything that you would suggest for PCT?

Coming from a sports background myself, I would avoid anything with the potential to induce water retention, sore joints, or otherwise impact on athletic performance.

Sponsors cannot make recommendations for products. That is Muscletalk rules. I will say though that training for relative strength and not following standard bodybuilding routines is the most important thing you can do to boost basketball performance.

Can anyone recommend anything or is it best just to steer clear?

Stay clear of Superdrol & Pheraplex for Water retention reasons... Back and shin pumps can be awful! Epistane can cause sore joints, it left me unable to run. Not sure if anyone would suggest any alternatives?! Im running a Test-E injectable cycle, but am currently struggling with water retention issues... Playing football is agony for the first 20-30mins. Shins and back cramp up something chronic! And thats with clean diet, loads of water and an AI. :(

From all I've cycled I'd say no steroid is ideal to run in-season (rugby in my case) - breathlessness being the most problematic side followed by pumps. I used to think I managed it ok, but tbh having analysed when I perform best in games during a season its definitely when 'natural'. My current experimentation is beta alanine, which might be worth you looking at too mate (see article in the articles section of MT). I'm also a big fan of albuterol. I'd agree with Predator's suggestion above on training, and would also suggest you research plyometrics if you haven't already.

Here is a great site for basketball info http://www.brianmac.co.uk/basketball/index.htm As a general rule if you cannot bench 1.5 x BW, and 2 x BW in the squat and deadlift for 1RM's prohormones are best left on the shelf til you boost your natural strength levels.
