Subject to references I will be doing my last all nighter soon as I was today offered a job I really wanted.

Many of you will be familiar with my professional ups and downs, and so this time I took a step back positioned myself where I thought I would be most attractive, with a lower salary and kept in mind all the time, can I see myself being here in 5 years.

Anyway, I have had 3 offers today, and will subject to those references be taking the one with the lowest salary, the worst bonus scheme and probably the worst location (although its not terrible by any means), because its the most solid reliable opportunity.

A lot of us have been suffering in this recession, I hope that finally I'm going down the road away from it !

Im going to carry on doing a little door work two nights a week for now, the salary is a lot less than Im used to for one, but also as a saftey net.

It does mean however that Sunday will be my last 4pm to 7am security shift !

And good news on my side the squad have smaaaaaashed it this week and were also soon to be signing a lease for a super swarve office in a high rise office in a perfect location, mwahahaha! All i need now is a bald cat.

Burger King is a good employer, dont knock it !

Peagreen buddy, one thing I have found that even sitting in my portakabin at 4am, thinking "how did it come to this", I realised that working was so much better than not working.

A bar job might seem pretty ****ty given your exp and qualifications but its a lot btter than sitting at home worrying...which TBH would have been what I did if not working.

To everyone else, thanks guys, I really hope this limbo I have been in for the past 2 years might be over.
