RAC, AA.....? Now I'm about to start doing a lot of miles, I'll need some cover. Please can you share your insights about which company is best/cheapest? Ta

I'm wondering the same thing. It's not the AA if that helps. I always got great service from Green Flag as they operate in a different way from the RAC/AA

Ive always used RAC and the AA,id say avoid the RAC They operate a hidden roll over contract, they send a letter and you have to opt out within a small window or they auto renew, only they dont send the letter and its craftly not near the end date of your policy. Green flag seem ok,id look at what level of cover you need and then pick either AA or Green flag.
Everyone has been in shape, but not everyone is IN shape, its about where your going not where you have been.

I'm with the AA. They have their own flatbeds to recover you on, RAC and Green Flag subcontract to OnTime.

Andy76 I'm with the AA. They have their own flatbeds to recover you on, RAC and Green Flag subcontract to OnTime. and that's why they're normally quicker to turn up!
