I've never used collagen but it looks like it would be worthwhile and it is affordable.

Can I just ask the more knowledgable folk here to clarify something for me: it was my understanding that cissus and glucosamine/chrondtriton can be differentiated by the fact that one of them helps tendons and the other helps cartilage. But I always get confused between which one does what! Can anyone elaborate?

I also got trouble with my elbows, which mainly stems from tricep work, i try not to lock out now as i think thats the problem. I find glucosamine eases the problem abit.

I've heard Udo's Oils bigged up on here a few times. Anybody have any personal testimonies to support it for joint health?

im taking udo's now, its good but i prefer my fish oil, i feel the difference with it. Barleans is another good oil. i used to take flex for many months, stopped and stuck to the oils and added celadrin, that stuff is amazing for me anyway, but must be in liquid gel form. i also took collagen and personally didnt feel any better from it. going to give cissus a proper try again id say best thing is experiment and see what you find helps you best.

But I presume both are pretty closely linked, like if you have degenerative cartilage it won't help your tendons and vice versa. Think I'll get some glucosamine and chrondtriton and see if it helps any.

But I always get confused between which one does what! Can anyone elaborate? Heres a succinct answer which should answer your question CK - http://www.livestrong.com...nts-tendons-ligaments/ Cheers bud! So glucosamine/chrondtriton = cartilage Yeah And cissus = tendons. Yeah But I presume both are pretty closely linked, like if you have degenerative cartilage it won't help your tendons and vice versa. Think I'll get some glucosamine and chrondtriton and see if it helps any. Wasnt completely sure myself so did abit of digging....found another link on the site which basically states Glucosamine 'is believed to strengthen and protect cartilage and promote gycosaminoglycan synthesis. Tendons and ligaments are composed of cartilage; this vitamin strengthens and maintains cartilage, thereby reducing your injury potential. To maintain and strengthen your tendons and ligaments via cartilage synthesis.' Conclusion - So primarily benefits cartilage but by doing so it also aids your tendons and ligaments and chondritin apparantly does very much the same. See on the right hand side of the article, there is more useful links, maybe worth a look.

Glucosamine itself is very cheap, you will find that a glucosamine + chon supp to be quite abit more expensive, i personally just take glucosamine, i guess the best stack would be gluc and cissus, but cissus aint cheap i dont think. Glucosamine - £10.59 360 tabs x 1000mg tabs (2000mg daily = 180 day supply) Glucosamine & chondritin - £14.99 180 tabs x 500mg gluc and 400mg chondritin (4 daily = 45 day supply) As you can see adding chondritin raises the price alot, personally a tad to much for me, so i just stick to glucosamine 2000mg daily, prices from simplysupplement.net btw. Good stuff ice. Yeah cissus isn't that cheap but it's bloody worth it's weight in gold IMO! Depending on the issue you have of course.

I get hcl tablets which are 90% but the tablet is 1100mg so I know I get 1000mg of active per tablet big difference imo!
An Alterego is a paradoxical escape.

Yeah true mate, i was going to mention that if there were people interested or if their were further questions, that why i take 2000mg so i get 1500mg daily. Is your source cheaper than simplysupplements though mate, i find their the cheapest, well that i know of anyway...free delivery too IIRC.
