Best place to get natural peanut butter?
09 September 2010 02:51
( permalink)
Ive been using sunpat peanut butter for years but I see it has a fairly high sugar content. Wheres a good place to get the natural stuff, I know you can get that whole earth stuff but I think its a bit expensive. Anywhere that does the natty stuff cheap? Cheers Danny

I honestly can not remember, just tried to look on their website, but couldn't find it. I just know it works out cheaper than whole earth. They also do awesome cashew butter and almond butter.

Meridian Peanut Butter ,chunky or smooth from Holland & Barratts is £4.95 for 1kg but you do often get deals like Buy 1 get 2nd half price etc. I love this stuff ,its my treat of the day when I have it spread on 2 slices of wholegrain toast

Thanks for the links guys, Ive heard of the meridian stuff before, whats the crack with it? The meridian on the holosfoods site has got 5.9g of sugar per 100g so more than the sunpat I use currently. It says in the description, no salt, no sugar which is a bit confusing? The hbsfoods stuff looks good but there doesnt seem to be any nutritional info, think Ill email them to find out. Thanks again Danny

I find the taste of the myofusion OK but not in the same league as the bodytronics stuff IMO

1ntense The hbsfoods stuff looks good but there doesnt seem to be any nutritional info, think Ill email them to find out. Thanks again Danny Its the same as plain peanuts. They dont add any sugar or salt so its just plain peanuts ground into a paste.
