Best value whey/blend with added probiotics?
15 January 2012 18:27
( permalink)
I find that the addition of probiotics and digestive enzymes makes a real difference to how I react to products eg no wind, stomach aches etc. Like many I am looking to cut monthly costs so wondered what the best value product was that had these in. I've used CNP and Reflex products, very good but pricey (especially the CNP). Don't mind if it's a whey or a blend, any suggestions? Thanks.

Reflex's whey is as good as you will get to be honest - also cracking value considering the quality of the product. Another option may be to take a digestive enzyme product seperately which may (I don't know, never checked!!) work out cheaper.

Not really, just find I tolerate Reflex and CNP better than other whey products. So whatever they use! :)

Probiotics are good as are the digestive enzymes. The Digezyme is not cheap Echo. Think like this The probiotics and digestive enzymes are the same price but you use 4-5 times the amount of digestive enzymes per serving. For me I'd like to see a minimum of 50mg digestive enzymes per serving and 200 million + spores. Yet to see a product with this.
An Alterego is a paradoxical escape.

Reflex and CNP as stated are both excellent choices. Alternatively, pick your favourite protein powder and consider adding a probiotic or digestive enzyme supplement which is preferable in terms of ensuring the dosing is right.

the reason for your preference is because you ain't pinchin; pennies and another is that the main ingredient is native whey isolate = a newer whey on market supposed to be good if not better, i.e. at least 50% of the whey is the isolated and not the cheapo concentrate that actually is not cheap at all as there good isolates if you shop around.. I know what I'm saying and that probioo **** enzymes are useless

Probiotics and digestive enzymes are two different things mate. Just the post above kind of puts them down as the one thing.
