Bigwickers Personal log 30 October 2009 11:14 (permalink)
Just like to say i would welcome replies and any advice that someone thinks will help no matter how big or small.  Let me say a bit about myself i am 36, 6ft2 and have plenty of weight to loose. I will show my weight loss so far and say what i am looking to get too. I am currently using ephedrine 6 tablets upon waking  and go to the gym 5 times a week.

Mondays : Chest + Bicep
Tuesday  : Back + Tricep
wednes   : Shoulders
thursday : Arms
Friday     :  Legs

I was doing 15-20 minutes cardio before free weights but for some reason started to neglect it. My diet at present leaves a  lot to be desired i am probably having 1 meal a day due to never feeling hungry but when i do it would be something like, chicken, pasta, rice vegetables. I try to have at least 2 protien shakes a day.

My weight loss so far has been,

21rst september i was 135.2kg , yesterday 29th october i weighed in at 129.7kg .

i am really trying to get my head in to gear to sort my diet out as i know that is one of the most important things of training. My idea of a sensible diet for a day would be :

breakfast : 3 weetabix with semi skimmed milk

11am : protien shake

lunch : rice and vegetables

2pm : protien shake

5pm : chicken with pasta

One other question should i still be drinking as much water as i possibly can ? Any help or advice will be taken on board and appreciated

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY I AM NOT EXPECTING NO ONE TO DO IT FOR ME, BUT HELP TO GET ON TRACK WOULD BE TOTALLY APPRECIATED

    Hey, Welcome to journal land.

Have you started a thread in the diet section?

For me I just constantly drink water throughout the day just taking sips every now and then. I reakcon I do 1.5 to 2 litres a day.

Welcome and congratulations on the weight loss so far.

Try the following site for diet recommendations to suit your goals

      http://www.mealplansite.com/

Key to losing fat is diet and cardio.

Cardio wise, general opinion is to do cardio after weights - 20 mins when you glycogen levels are low following weight training.

Maybe consider a 3 day split with cardio on off days if time is at a premium.

I would just have a good look in the diet and training sections and pope up any specifiuce questions there - you will always get a response.

      Good luck

Thanks for the replies i have been looking in nutrition and diet side have a few questions to as, but will add them in diet section i believe is right. Met a guy at the gym . very nice bloke explained things to me in a very simplistic way lol. He said i had to imagine myself as a cow and graze lightly during the day and not eat huge bowls and then nothing. I know to some it may not sound great but to me it hit the nail on the head for me. Well of i go to the diet section ask my questions :)
