How have you found your strength whilst on cycle? Made any noticable gains or has this inconsistent training made gauging progress difficult?


Blue and inconsistent in the same sentence!!??

        Well my training hasn't been that inconsistent really, noticed a strength increase at the start of the cycle... That soon went as the T3 was introduced, not weak by any means did a 130kg bench yesterday and 80kg overhead press at weekend (never gone this heavy on over head press) mainly because i had a motorcycle induced shoulder injury which has never allowed that movement at bigger weights.

        Happy with these considering im eating less, new goals. 100kg overhead press, and 140kg bench (only ever completed on bulks)

          2 plates OH and 3 plate bench are both nice milestones. Did I mention I hit 100kg OH for 5 a week ago and nailed a 150kg bench on Tuesday.....

              Oops slight cheat last night, had done a workout and was starving had a mini cheat arranged which involved chicken and lamb kebab (chargrilled) and a spgetti hot (spagetti bolognese with cheese grilled on the top... so ok but the guy was like "Hey my friend, my friend, my friend, my friend, my friend, my friend you look hungry" and he put on loads of donner meat free but i didn't have the will power to go nooooo.

              So i just took it home and ate it, no biggie though.

                Haha i reckon it's nigh on impossible to turn down something like that after a workout. Best not to go in there at all. My willpower would be non-existant.

                If i had the money and they only knew how weak i was i could walk out with the entire cylinder of doner meat.

                Hope Twilights in Billericay doesn't read MT - though it's been a while since i even had a chicken kebab!

                  It was rather nice tbh, nd the spagetti hot was well nice. They get a take away tin and put in spagetti chillies and bolognese sauce... topped with mozzorella and chucked in the oven!

                      My training partner is off on piss, he has has a stressful day and needs it.. he tired dragging me out too, i resisted but haven't had a great day myself and am having a couple of glasses of wine

                            Oops ate the chicken and noodles etc but didn't draw the line with junk (suppose its cheat day) just tucking in to a chicken, lamb and kofta kebab on a garlic bread... chicken wings in batter, chocolate fudge cake slice and cheese cake slice

                              Do you follow a structured diet or do you just eat as you please?
                              How do you justify a cheat meal one day when the night before you effectively had a cheat meal as well?

                              Not having a pop, just interested to see how you structure your diet, has been a good read.

                                Just eat real clean most of the time eg mon - fri with a moderate cheat in there, then have 2 day at weekend where i eat what i want and then back to being strict. Tbh my diet is not the best but its its been good compared what im used to... I need cheat meals or i'll just drop the whole diet tbh
