Boditonics Mass Attack 04 March 2010 15:01 (permalink)
there is no info on the tub which recommends the quantity water you should use when mixing and was wondering how much would be appropriate or is it not that important? say for one serving (2 scoops)

THere should be a recommendation on the new labels but it really is about how you like your shake , as a guide 2 scoops with 500-600ml of liquid then if you like it thicker use less and if you like it thinner use more .

I put in 2 heaped scoops with 600ml of water. And it's deliciously thick! :D

I find it quite thin in 400ml of water. I use it in 400ml milk most of the time nice and quite thick, tastes superb in toffee.

I use 500ml of water or skimmed milk, just right for me. Got to ask, my last tub was vanilla which was fine, just got chocolate one now and man do I have toxic farts consistantly a couple of hours after my mid-morning shake, people at work are starting to get sick of it!!! Anyone else get this??

I getting this aswell, i love mass attack but find if i have more than 1 scoop it froths far too much (water or milk) and i get very gasy and bloated...

Surely there's some way to prevent this... Wurz ?!

We are not aware of Mass Attack Frothing at all are you blending or shaking it ? regards wind etc , it does contain more fibre than a malto based gainer due to oats etc plus probiotics so this may cause your problem , it should die down with use unless you have a milk intolerance . We have just launched Mass Attack Evo which def does not froth as we were testing it yesterday and it should not cause any digestive problems but again the fibre content is higher than Malto based gainers due to the increased amount of low GL carbs in it

                        Wurz, thanks for info.
I blend mine with either water or milk and it always seems to froth and not settle down if i use more than 1 scoop in it...

Look forward to trying evo, any details on nutritional profile ??

My first tub arrived today in vanilla, the label on mine tells me to take 2 scoops with 450-550ml of water or milk.  Had a serving post workout and found it tastes good with milk, but it definitely has kick started some bowel movement for me

Had my second serving today, love the taste but getting loads of wind and watery sh*t :(  Im going to try it with water tomorrow as ive used full fat milk so far so im thinking it could be down to that (especially as ive never ever had a shake with milk only water and the only other time I EVER have milk is on cereal).
