Boditronics Intracell

Recived this today from BBW came next day free deliverly with a sample of Blaze so im more than happy with the service.
 
Ingredients list  is very good a 2.1.1 ration of BCAAs, with citrulline mallate, Glutamine ,vit B6 ,Niacin,taurine and a electrolytic replenshment blend .
 
I cant comment to much on performance as BCAAs are what they are but I think there are some useful additions in there I like the Taurine as i get cramp when I do Biceps and this always relieves the cramp and the electrolytes are good as I lose a lot of salts through sweat .
 
Taste - very important with a Intra
I love Scivation Xtend and xtend beats this on taste in fact xtend beats everything on taste IMHO but this isnt bad .
I have the Forest Berries flavour it also comes in Orange and passionfruit  (I dont really like orange drinks that much) and lemonade.
anyway the forrest fruits is ok you can taste the chemical aftertaste its not in the same league as Xtend for taste but its definetly drinkable its like a weakish berry cordial with a bit of chemical aftertaste . Ill have no probs finishing the tub. Id give it a 3 out of 5
 
This was on Offer at BBW for £25 IMO this is a bargain for 750g the usual price however is £30 , xtend is around £35 for 1kg.
 
so its a fiver difference xtend tastes better but this has extras in it that xtend doesnt have and IMO worthwhile additions.
 
would i buy it again ? for £25 again Yes definetly.
for £30? yes I would
Iits certainly drinkable and I think a great profile. I still love extend and will always buy the grape flavour but I think this is a good addition to the Intra range.

True I never really contemplated it before  , I notice Echo sell it at a good price as well its certainly worth that with the extras it has.

Glad you are liking Intracell , it is indeed a bit of a dark horse , we have not promoted it as much as we would have liked yet due to us changing to all new packaging and that taking up alot of time and resource but we will be pushing it much more soon .
 
It is the one product I use more than anything else and would take to a Desert island along with my record collection if i was marroned

REgards the flavour , All the staff here use this all the time and we feel the flavour is pretty good as do the many Crossfit athletes that use it , If you look at the profile you will notice we have Alot of Leucine in the product ( as well as high amounts of the other BCAA , Citrulline , Glutamine and Taurine ) which is very bitter and also we have a very good Electrolyte blend which is inevitably slightly salty . Alot of the competitors which we are told taste better have lower amounts of these or non at all of some , Given the profile we think it tastes really good . Certainly not nasty in any way . Indeed if you are working up a real sweat the saltiness is quite welcome

ingredients have to be more important, for me at least. Taste is always subject to each individual. Take Hemo Black Concentrate. The flavour i have currently is nasty, but the products profile blews my head clean off, so i carry on using it. ha
 
also, out of interest, what is Boditronics and Xtends actual ingredient profiles? Just im sure ive seen Xtends list of ingredients/profile and its weaker than other similar brands?

No of course flavour is not more important  than profile Never under any circumstance . But I made the point in the review that flavour is very important in a intra as you cant chug it down you have to sip it constantly throughout your workout and thats no good if it tastes bad. so has to be taken into account more than other supps :)
