Body parts constantly falling asleep!

Over the last month or so, different body parts (mostly legs and arms) have been falling asleep VERY often.  I am scared that this may be very dangerous or a serious problem.  Every night when I wake up in the middle of the night and every morning my arms 'fall asleep' and I experience pins and needles.  It also happens very often during the day like if I am just sitting with my legs crossed.  This has not happened all my life.

Is there any way this is connected to any supplements or diet issue?  I am currently taking creatine monohydrate, beta alanine, taurine, BCAAs, and then whey and WMS.

Any ideas?

I would suggest a visit to the GPs, clearly something is affecting your circulation.

    ASAP.

This used to happen to me quite a lot, and then as suddenly as it started it stopped. I can't remember associating it with anything, although of course it will have had a cause.

I think you should start eating and supplementing like you were six weeks ago and see if that helps.

I was going to post the same thing but just never got around to doing so - i am having same issue! last 6 weeks or so I have had my arms fall alseep on me while alseep and waking. One night I woke up groaning according to my gf and she had to help rub my arm as the eblow was killing and the rest was numb. It only seems to happen when i sleep and it could be when i am laying on my side or when i am on my back and my arms are above my head.

I dont know if its weight related or if being heavy can effect circulation like this? It is worrying I have to admit. It hasnt happened last few nights so might see how i get on. might sound daft but i made a point of doing some cardio for first time in a while other day just to get the blood pumping around etc I have a feeling its from all this bulking.

I had the same problem.  I found there was actually 2 problems, the first was the way I lean on my computer desk with my left arm at the elbow for long periods of time.  It didn't go numb then, but for periods throughout the day my left hand would go numb.  Once I worked out what it was, it took about a week and it never came back.

The second was sleeping with 1 arm under the pillow and then my head on it.  I would wake up feeling like it was someone elses arm in the morning.
Again, changed the way I go to sleep by putting my palms together next to my face on the pillow, happened a few times after, but then stopped and not had since.

When I was heavier, it was a problem in my legs too when I sat on them crossed or similar, but stopped that and it sorted itself out.

Def worth seeing the GP, but if you can work out what might be causing it, change it and see how it is after a couple of days.
