Asda have princes tuna 4 for £3 all the time now. Or 75p for their cheap brand version. Crazy. Same price as princes and princes has higher protein to g ratio and tastes 10 times better.

go to a butchers and ask for off cuts of chicken they charger you half the price but you cant cut out the bad fat and still gain 80% of good meat.

When I was a student this helped me out so you could roughly get 4 breasts for less than £2
Asdas if 400g for £4
Aldi 450g for 4.50
Tesco 350g for 3.50

The good thing is not a lot of people ask for this, plus the butchers usually like to make a bi of money on stuff they have to bin anyway so win win .

This weekend Lidl (in some areas) have Diced Chicken Breast, 375g for £1.34 (that's only £3.57 per kilo!).

My region has the not so great offer of Chicken drumsticks, £1.12 per kilo.

Check the Lidl website for your regional offer.

Asda apparently doing £2 whole salmon!

Will be buying 50, if that's the case - change disguises in the car, and revisit.

I'm assuming so mate - most stores limit their mega-loss leaders to some degree.
