Asda have got a deal on smoked salmon, 97p for 100g instead of £1.97ish! They are vacuum packed at 100g too so you can buy sh1t loads and throw them in the freezer till needed (thats what Ive done anyway) EDIT: oops I just saw someone beat me to this 3 days ago!

Just a heads up in case it hasnt been highlighted before. Every monday/tuesday around 7pm for the past 2-3 months when i go to my local sainsbury's, the butcher counter has some smashing offers on all the meats. Think once it has been displayed for 2-3 days the prices plummet. An example of what i've been getting. Aberdeen Angus Fillet steak - normal price 33pound/ kilo. i've picked it up twice for 7.99/kilo. This is the best steak (taste is amazing) money can buy and for that price i filled my freezer up. Most weeks i can pick up the sirloins for reduced rates from say 18-20 down to 8-10 pounds. This is pretty good value as the meat is def tastier than the pre packaged ones and a hell of alot cheaper.
