Bodypower Strongman Challenge 2010 (heavies)

Bodypower strongman challenge will talk place at this yeras body power expo 2010 at the Nec Birmingham.
2-5pm on Saturday the 22nd may
athletes will be via invitation, with the exception of top 5 from Lancashire Strongman Champions feb 21st.
5 events to be confimed, and athletes soon.
Referee's Mick & Rich Gosling Britains strongest man winners.

Athletes: Jay Hughes, Paul Carter, Jack Mcintosh, Ken Nowicki, Ross Stone, Dave Meer, Mark westaby, Alex Curletto, Rob Frampton, wayne Tunstall, Colin Jones, Tom Shaw, Dean Slater, Garry Gardner,res Mark Lawson, 5 events (tbc) over 3hours, this event will follow the under 105's Body power Strongman challenge, any questions please ask.

this event will take place 2:00-5:00pm
in the Strongman area
Events, Farmers walk & sack Medley, Log Lift, axledeadlift, Giant dumbell press and stones.
We have a limited number of discount tickets available for a shoirt time if interested.

update jay hughes out due to injury, mark lawson takes his place
Medley: 15m farmers 160kg, returning with 110kg sack carry 15m, head to head
All 60 sec limit
Log for rep’s:, ifsa spec or as near to 130kg head to head 60 sec time limit (down to floor each time)
Axle Deadlift: Thick handle 16” height, straps allowed 310kg
Head to head reps 60seconds
Dumbell Press: Thick handle dumbbell, 65kg (ish) for reps 60sec head to head (this dumbbell is huge and 80kg was to heavy, its similar but larger than the ones used at last years worlds strongest man)
Atlas stones:, 5 stones 110 – 170kg height to be confirmed, we will either be going head to head at 56”, or singles at varying height’s.

We have just received confirmation that the winner of the bodypower strongman challenge heavies will receive an invitation to the strongman champions league limerick event.
