That looks like a pretty intense workout, I'm not surprised you were sweating. You are right though, it will definitely make your conditioning better. Keep it up! P.S Dont think I didnt notice that sneaky KFC

yea they're really a killer , i used to superset but biceps with triceps , bench presses with cross overs , but super setting compoundsis a whole new story :D . but i really like to feel done after a workout and thats how i felt. and i plan on training instinctively meaning that i won't stick to a set/rep scheme , sometimes 12,10,8,6 sometimes 5X5 sometimes singles so it'll be interesting. oh man i thought u won't see it :P next time i will hide it hehehe

I'm guessing today is the last day of your fasting.. What are you planning on doing diet-wise after that again? Still planning on fasting a couple of days a week like you said you were going to?

during ramadan we fast from 5am to 5pm anytime other than these periods we're allowed to eat and drink whatever we want except the already forbidden stuff like pork and liquor. ramadan is only 29 days after ramadan we have a feast celebrating breaking our fasts we resume normal life eating and drinking all day long. what i was telling skinny bloke is that i plan on fasting 1-2 times a week during the whole year because fasting has great effects on ur body. iam eating 3-4 meals because i don't have time to get in more :D . no prob ask what u want i actually enjoy explaining :D

Enjoy the feast man. Would you care to share on the benfits of fasting then? I've heard you speak of it a few times before.

ok here's a few benefits: 1) fasting gives ur pancreas a break wich inturn increases insuling sensitivity and stops diabetes dead in its tracks. 2) fasting improves ur skin because during fasting u don't drink water and since ur low on the water supply there's no water in ur skin, which makes the skin more immune to widespread skin disease , less allergies and no oily skin. no acne because acne is produced due to toxins cleared out by your intestines. 3) during regular times ur body diposes 125milion cells per sec. during fasting the body is tempted to get rid of those plus any other weak cells which helps ut body with disposal of all unwanted cells and replacing them with new ones 4) 10% of the blood pumped by the heart goes to the intestines to break down food during fasting this doesn't happen which gives the heart a break. plus during fasting alot of fat is broken to provide energy to the body which brings the 'LDL' down and in turn prevents blood clots and heart strokes. 5) during fasting the kidney's get a break because there is no water in the blood for about 12 hours which gives the kidneys a break to get rid of unwanted toxins and unwanted fat and also lowers the blood pressure a tiny bit which is good for high blood pressure patients. also the concentration of sodium and pottasium increase and the calcium decrease which aids in fat burning and stops formation of kidney stones and lipomas and tumors. 6)during fasting ur body is forced to use stored fat as feul for the brain functions also which inturn lessens brain strokes. 7) bile is not secreted in the intestines during fasting so it gives the intestines a break , and relives the acidity of the stomach that some ppl suffer from. 8) the liver oxidises fats and gets rid of them along with unwanted toxins through the urinary tract. 9) during fasting the blood heamoglobin levels and protien levels aren't affected negatively so they continue building new cells and repairing old ones, therefore ppl become active during fasting, plus not drinking water lowers the blood levels inside the capillaries which makes the body realese " prostglandene" which regulates and reignites blood cells and make labour easier. 10) due to the fact that the body gets rid of unwanted toxins the joint pains are alliviated, also the uric acid levels are reduced which helps with many disease.

Wow that's interesting! I wonder what some of the downsides are to fasting, besides the obvious hunger and thirst :P

skinnybloke Wow that's interesting! I wonder what some of the downsides are to fasting, besides the obvious hunger and thirst :P if ur big into coffee or a smoker like myself, it could make you as cranky as f**k similar symptoms to roid rage, lol! fasting ramadan in Egypt is a walk in the park, when u ramadan in a non moslem country and everyone around u is drinkin and smoking you kinda feel extra sorry for urself
