Bulkaholics Prep for Body Power Expo 2012
28 December 2011 18:01
( permalink)
Hello All, Well it's been some years since I posted on here and thought I needed a journal over here to help keep me ontrack and motivate a bit. The pictures below are of condition I reached last year on diet but bailed out 4 weeks away from show as head was shot and burnt myself out with too many stims for fatburning etc. I had about 6 months off recently with odd days training here and there in between heavy drinking and eating crap. I have now given up the alcohol for life probably as dont seem to be able to control it. The 6 months off was during PCT also so worst time of all and body went downhill rapidly. I wont post pics of where i was 6 weeks ago until end of prep but it's very bad. With help of Con aka Mutant I have turned things around muscle wise very quickly but this is all natural this time. The wife and myself achieved the baby making but still very early so will be staying off the sauce. So classic class is the target as would be too stringy for any other class i think as will prob be around 80kg maybe less. Cheers

Thanks for the input people :) Yes it really is shame that I backed out of last one and it's been grating at me ever since hence getting back up there. I think I am better equipped for this diet and won't be doing all the drama queen moaning like it's the end of the world this time I am looking forward to getting in shape again. Cardio starts Monday morning so will start getting some quicker results then.

thanks Daz, training in Northampton at better bodies during week as working away and then Trainstation weekends if needed. would be good to get a training session one day :) here's today's run down: Trained pull this morning (hate training mornings but forced to today) Deads: 5x5 x 160kg (this is very light but even then felt some twinging down ass cheeks so need to get some stretching done and warm up better) BOR: 1 x 12 x 60kg shoulder hurting so onto chest supported row 80kg x 12 x 2 Hammer Curls: 1 x 10 x 18kg 2 x 10 x 28kg and that was it gym was so packed with new year nutters that couldn't get on much else 30 mins cardio then at 140-150bpm Meals are just: 1) 60g oats with protein 2) pwo shake protein 80g carbs 3) will be chicken and wholemeal rice half pack of uncle bens 4) will be chilli with lean mince 5) will be oats and protein Probably it for today as got up pretty late. Tomorrow will be fun with 4am start and home by 7pm but will work around it. I have been running 60mcg of T3 and will continue this throughout diet as thyroid tends to be sluggish especially during dieting. I have also been using a little clomid eod for some test boost Thats it really so simple without this and that compound to think of and effects it may be having on water etc.

Daz, i really don't get any benefit from high rep work and also find it really boring. I find i grow best and maintain muscle by having real heavy low reps on the big 3 then higher reps for assistance work. That workout was cut short and would usually involve more assistance work. Cheers, Colin

Hello mate, No it's up in northampton where I am working during week. yeah doms are a bitch when training natural, I used to hardly suffer when on! They are better than coul dbe though by getting in good amount of carbs pwo. Trained legs today: Squats: warm ups, 100 x 5 120 x 5 140 x 5 140 x 5 160 x 2 100 x 5 was tough going as strength is so much lower than used to be. Still maintaining size is main aim at moment and that wil happen through maximum stimulation which it was. Leg Extension: 8 x 60 8 x 90 8 x 97.5 8 x 97.5 Calfs: 15 x 90kg 15 x 110kg 15 x 110kg (toes in and toes out) That was it as hams were cramping so didnt fancy twanging them on curls Weight loss this week was 1kg so 2.2lb bang on target. I was wanting to go hard and fast but this technique worked really well last diet and being natty dont wanna go nuts.

The biggest change is no gear as drugs are for losers Seriously though my approach to stims will be totally different. I used too many last time (against advice) and basically burnt out which led to me giving up 4 weeks out as I couldn't go on one more day. Prep wise Con is helping me (mutant) on TM but really am just doing my own thing with regard to foods etc. I will be looking for a pair of eyes to look me over closer to time as can't beat a real life view but think I really need to just give this one a go. Diet wise i will be going with same diet as last time which is just a balanced diet with around 300g protein and 300g carbs non training days with extra 100g carbs post workout. Fats are just incidental and some olive oil with rice some days red meat for saturated fats. Cardio I have tried 130bpm and it has done nothing for me and didn't last few times. Upped HR to 140-150bpm and now fat is flying off like last time. Thats about it really. Also pretty sure I won't be using diuretics either this time as too much to go wrong. May not deplete and carb up either just carb up into show. Still thinking about this and will be starting a thread on it.

Well you have my number if you need use , but stick to the plan in front of you to the mark. As to many views on things can play with your mind as the carbs lower and that diet head frys your brains lol All the best Daz
