My tescos has it, sainsburys too
dont go in asda unless its the only option available and I am desperate.

You could knock up a home made version in an hour - I just use my fave wholemeal bread recipe and then when its dough put all the seads and stuff in the bowl and knead them through the mixture

Has anyone tried that Ezekiel sprouted grain bread all the Americans rave about?

Anyone know if Tesco in the republic sell it?

I don't think I've ever heard of it. I generally don't eat much bread, try to avoid it but the occasional slice is good.

Getting back to a point someone raised earlier about GI ratings different when combined with other foods, doesn't vinegar lower the GI of foods?

Yep burgen soya & linseed bread is the king of all breads! tastes awesome (especially with pb ), it's got flax seeds, and high fibre/protein etc.

I realise Burgen is quite high in protein but has it got a good BV value?

for example if I had 4 slices I'd be consuming approx 20g of protein but if I had that with jam/marmalade would the bread be enough of a complete protein source or would I need to add one of the favourites i.e. eggs, chicken etc.

I've read that soy protein is a complete protein so you can count it.

The protein is from soy AFAIK which may or may not be bad for men to ingest

T-Nation hate it, other people say the phytoestrogens are no problem

I don't know myself so I steer clear anyway.

yeah heard conflicting comments also, I'd usually try and consume some lean protein with it, but then if u have 4 slices for example plus eggs/chicken for me (weighing only 156 lbs - approx 9% bf) I think I'm consuming too much protein in one sitting........can't win!!!

Where can you buy this burgen bread? I've never seen it before.

Does asda sell it?

Yes mate, get mine from Asda every week. And iirc its only £1!

Lovely stuff aswell!

Personally I think this testicle tenderness is due to my recent return to AM cardio. I do it naked on a recumbent bike and my gonads tend to flop about.
