    Shoulders and arms today. One of the best sessions I've had in ages. Not sure if it was because the gym was quiet and I could do more of what I wanted without waiting about.
     
    Also confidence is growing at standing OHP. Still not much weight but it's feeling better!
     
    BB OHP - 2 warm-up sets  -  50kg x 6 - 50kg x 5(just managed it)  -  40kg x 10 -  40kg x 8  -  40kg x 12(a few of them were with leg drive).
     
    Rear delts DB - 7.5 x 12 x 4
     
    Lateral cable raises - 4 x 12
     
    Machine shoulder press - 2 x 15
     
     
    Tricep pushdown and overhead rope extensions on cable
    3 x 12 on each then drop a plate on each and repeat 3 times. PUMPED!
     
    CGBP - 40kg x 10 x 4
     
     
    DB curls - 15kg x 12  -  15kg x 10  -  12.5kg x 10  -  10kg x 12
     
    Machine curls - 3 x 12

      Didnt plan on doing weights today but chucked in some traps before doing cardio.
       
      DB Shrugs -  Warm-up set  -  37.5 x 12 x 4  -  20kg x 20.
       
      35 mins fast walk on treadmill steep incline, 450cals.

          Good to see you're gaining confidence in the OHP mate, have you tried push press' too?

           
          I actually love doing traps on a rest day. My grip is so much better than it would be after doing everything else.
           
          I haven't tried push press on it's own but when I can't do anymore reps when shoulder pressing I use the leg drive to get the weight above my head

            My own OHP is the bain of my life mate, been trying to get a lowly 75kgs for weeks, 70 no problem, but that extra 5kgs just ruins my form, the resentment is building and things are getting personal

              Cheers OTF. I get like that with some lifts too, if it gets too long without making progress I try and switch it up a bit.
               
              Just done a 5 mile walk to a local holiday camp to hand in a CV and covering letter. Will count that as cardio.
               
              Took a picture on my phone of the 'beach' and wind turbines out at sea along the way.

                            Chest, tris and Calves today.
                             
                            Decent session, really struggled with strength today for some reason but still trained hard so it's all good!
                             
                            Tried getting the usual 35's into place and nearly had an accident. Actually that reminds me... last summer I was incline benching 30's and was really struggling with my last rep... Managed to get to the top and my arms just gave way and one of the DB's hit me in the face Had a nice cut above my eye and a black eye for a good few days, it was pretty funny actually. Wouldn't dare use the 30's again for a session or 2 either haha. Thought I'd share that.
                             
                             
                            Incline DB Bench - 2 warm-up sets  -  35kg x 5 (even getting it into place I nearly dropped it)  -  32.5kg x 8  -  32.5kg x 8  -  25kg x 12
                             
                            BW Dips - 4 x 10
                             
                            Decline bench, no rest between sets - 60kg - 40kg - 30kg - 20kg
                             
                            Pec Deck - 3 x 12 (cant remember weight)
                             
                             
                            CGBP - 45KG X 10 X 4
                             
                             
                            James' calf workout - 80kg - 60kg - 40kg

                              Quick back session this morning before footy.
                               
                              WG Chins - 6-6-6-5-5
                               
                              WG Rows (Cable) - Stack x 10 - 12 - 12 - 12  Much prefer the cable WG Rows than on the machine.
                               
                              DB Rows (Fancied some high reppers for a change) - 25kg x 15 x 3
                               
                              DB Curls - 15kg x 12 - 12.5kg x 12 - 10kg x 12.
                               
                               
                              Now to chill and enjoy United v Liverpool, Swansea v Norwich (worried about this one) & Spurs v Newcastle. Good weekend everyone!

                                I almost had an accident with the BB on the weekend - it slipped out my hand at the top of the CGBP and luckily I had the spotter arms in place otherwise there would have been 60kg into my ribs!

                                    Half arsed leg session today, still recovering from saturday nights antics. Social life kind of seems to be taking over at the min which is bad in a training sense but I'm enjoying myself for once .
                                     
                                    Leg press - 2 warm-up sets  -  200kg x 12 x 3 (good considering how im feeling)
                                     
                                    Hamstring curls - 35kg x 12 x 4
                                     
                                    Leg extension - 75kg x 12 - 12  -  60kg x 12  -  50kg x 12(slow reps)
                                     
                                     
                                    Calves on the leg press (first time trying it, pretty good actually) 3 x 20 @80kg
                                     
                                    That's it, legs were hammered and I couldn't be arsed to do anymore. I'll be feeling more upto it tomorrow.
