Went skiing with a few mates a couple of years ago, one of whom was jock.

After a few to many beers and (whiskies) we went back to our chalet and battered then deep fried a 6 pack of mars bars as a Burns night treat since we couldn't find any haggis in the alps.

Never again, firstly we were very lucky not to burn the chalet down (4 p1ssed blokes and a big pan of hot fat isn't smart) but also I could almost feel my arteries clogging as I ate them, truly disgusting.

Will stick to haggis from now on, washed down with a quality malt, not a jock, no affinity to Scotland at all, just like haggis and whisky.

Am Scottish but don't like haggis, tonight am trying a vegetarian haggis for the first time, with neeps and tatties of course (and ketchup).

apart from fish from the chip shop I have never had a battered anything! I have asked my mates and colleagues about it in the past and neither have they so I don't think its that commonplace.

Haggis I genuinely love even though its a shame the way they have to kill so many baby haggis at this time of year.

I wonder if the EU will invoke haggis quotas to ensure sustainability for future generations.

Wow, you learn something new every day, I knew haggis was real but I thought Robert Burns was fictional.

I love haggis, my favorite food.. wish it wasn't so unhealthy but hey ho. Id eat it every day if I could. Not such a fan of whisky anymore but mix it with green ginger wine and its a goer.. bloody strong though.

I love it too and always just think of the protein content rather that the lips-n-ar$ehole content which makes it fine in my book
