Cheers Burney mate. Rex, nope I didn't take photos unfortunately! Prob should have in retrospect... But if I'm gaining strength surely this is a surefire sign that I'm hanging onto muscle, hence the weight I'm losing is mostly fat? But I don't know, this would make sense on paper, but looking at my gut right now I can't be sure ...

CitizenKane For anyone that's interested, 3 significant things to report: 1. Weighed myself this morning and I was 90kg on the button, so that's a total loss so far of 11kg in 7 and a half weeks. And my squat, deads and OH have all gone up again this week. Although the less said about my benching this week the better... I guess I'm starting to notice a difference around my waist, it's just taking longer than I had anticipated! 2. Remember a few months ago I said I had to stop training for a few weeks because of my exams? Well I got the results this week and passed them all. Couldn't be happier. This means I'm half way to getting to the law society to start training as a solicitor (next round of exams in Sept). So on balance it was probably worth not risking damaging my hand any more from benching! 3. My cheat meal last night was so impressive that I feel it deserves a mention. Get a load of this... 12" Dominos Pizza 1 portion of chinese Fried Shredded Chilli Beef 1 portion of Roast Duck Cantonese Style 1 portion of rice and a load of bourbon cream biscuits to finish off. That's essentially 3 meals. Probably about 4000 calories in one sitting. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of myself. Know this is a bit late mate but lol thats an awesome cheat meal, legendary Good luck with the diet, must be ******* hard training on such low carbs (I've never done it ... yet) and congrats with the exams Great track also, "Slayer - Angel of Death", have you heard any of the old Prong stuff? if not check out "Snap your fingers snap your neck"

Howya lads. Korn - thanks mate. If I ever achieve my goals, Slayer will be a lot to do with it. No matter how demotivated I'm feeling, slapping on Reign in Blood on the iPod NEVER fails to get me pumped up and ready to f.uck sh1t up! IT - cheers pal, I worked really hard on the exams and sacrificed a good bit of training, so it was really good to get the results! Red - I may have lost more weight than you, but I'm sure that's merely because I had a LOT more fat to lose than you from the beginning! Seriously I'm probably still not as lean as you were when you started your cut! Sorry this journal is a desolate place at the moment, I've actually just started an internship in a firm last week so I've been super busy! I've noticed some strange things because of this though: I'm working from 9 til half 5 (at the earliest), and I have to get up at about half 6 and because of my terrible sleeping habits of the last year or so, I've only been getting about 4-5 hours sleep each night this week. On top of that I've been eating subway for lunch every day this week and I've done zero cardio this week. BUT despite all of this, I've actually noticed a marked improvement around my waist! Definitely looking leaner than I was last week. Not really sure why, maybe it's because I'm actually burning a lot more calories throughout the day now that I'm working and sleeping a lot less? But yeah things are going well. (Although I haven't had time to weigh myself any morning this week!) Some things to note: 1. I'm switching my routine to a Full Body 3x week for the rest of this cut. Partly because I have been doing the same routine forever and I need/want a change, and partly because it will suit my working hours a lot better. My new routine is something like: Day 1 Squat Bench Press BOR + assistance work (curls, delts, etc.) Day 2 Deads OHP Chin Ups + assistance work (tri's, CGBP, etc.) Day 3 Front Squats/Box Squats Dips High Pulls + assistance work (calves, pecs, etc.) It is low volume, high frequency (basically the polar opposite of the routine I've been using until now), and the plan is when I finish the cut and start a rebound bulk I will probably switch to some kind of higher volume split again, as I will most likely be doing so assisted. Which leads me on to my second point: 2. I'm starting a Cynostane cycle tomorrow. Got my stuff in the post on Friday, really looking forward to it. Not expecting much in the way of gains per se, but given that I've actually had some strength gains during my cut so far naturally, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that with the addition of a mild DS like cynostane I could notice a bit more a of 'recomp' effect, ie. maybe adding a bit more strength or even lean mass. Cycle will be 30mg Cynostane per day for 3 weeks + milk thistle, and PCT of ATD for 3 weeks (by all accounts an OTC PCT will suffice with this compound) So hopefully after 6 weeks I will be starting to look decent, then I'll continue to cut/maintain naturally for another 6 weeks before starting a rebound bulk with SD or Dbol (haven't decided yet). So that's the plan. Diet will be better this week, the first week of work was just very hectic, but now I've got it all sussed out, there is a kitchen area in the office just around the corner from my desk and I asked the HR people and they said its perfectly fine for me to bring in whey shakes etc, and I'll be preparing meals for lunch time as well. Just off to the gym now to bang out Day 3 of the full body routine, bring it on!

theITman The subway diet...will be in womens weekly soon. LMAO. Yeah it's bad but tbh I still think I've been under the limit of carbs per day allowing me to stay in keto (just about!). Just been having a plain sub with chicken breast and a bit of cheese, not too bad really considering I'm not eating ANY other carbs!

Well done on your intership. Nice job switching up to a FB routine looks gooddd. Ive heard great things about cynostane mate for a cutter. I take it your searched MT for opinions before choosing this, great choice anyway :) , you may even add a 1/2 lbs of muscle so recomp as you say. Your only running it for 3 weeks? Is that 1 tub yeah?

May as well put up today's sesh: Front Squats 20kg x 8 x 2 40kg x 5 50kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 Dips BW + 20kg x 8 BW + 20kg x 8 BW + 20kg x 8 Will up this to 25kg next week and aim for slightly less reps High Pulls 20kg x 8 x 2 40kg x 5 60kg x 5 60kg x 5 60kg x 5 60kg x 5 60kg x 5 Again will add more weight next week, this was my first time ever doing this lift so it involved a bit of guesswork. Fun exercise though. Cable Crossovers 27kg x 12 x 3 Plus an hour of cardio. Good session.

First session of the cycle tonight. Didnt get much sleep last night and had a looooong ass day today in work but despite that I had a great session and was really pumped up for it. I have no idea if this has anything to do with the cynostane, but more likely a placebo effect thereof. Box Squats 100kg x 5 100kg x 5 100kg x 5 95kg x 5 Incline Bench 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 70kg x 5 DB Rows 42.5kg x 8 50kg x 6 50kg x 6 50kg x 6 Curls for biceptoids
