Disagree. Your fat intake is very low, Stu. As you're virtually vegan, unless you're supplementing with vegan DHA, your brain is crying out for some DHA as men are p*ss-poor converters of DPA->DHA compared to women

Except for the lack of data to indicate deficits in brain development among vegetarians

Surrogate outcomes are nice and all but always preliminary. And why it is far too early to say for certain wither way ^^
Who's talking about brain development? I'm talking about mental function. Quite a few non-oily fish eaters that I know are right argumentative buggers.

I know "vegetarians*" that eat fish. I know that a fish is not a vegetable, but different people draw the line in different places. People used to call my ex-G/F a vegetarian, but she had to point out that she's actually a "non-meat eater" as she eats fish/oily fish and she isn't an argumentative bugger!

*self-proclaimed
Edited for clarity.

Although - the metabolism of short chain fatty acids produced by gut bacteria is different than the saturated fat derived from your diet :)
    In what way?

I know vegetarians that eat fish.

eerrmm... no, by definition they aren't vegetarians.

It's like saying "I know a few straight guys that prefer men."

And while your there perhaps take a moment to consider why psycholigal measures are not the most reliable form of evidence.

Being an "argumentative bugger" is an actual end-point rather than a surrogate one, IMO. But yes, it's not a reliable form of evidence!
