Currently weigh 12st, aged 26, want to get to 11st or even 10.5st before I go travelling. I've just started this diet: - 8.30 Porridge 10.30 Banana, Green Tea 12.30 Meat with vegetables + potatos/rice (whatever canteen at work provides) 15.00 150g Cottage Cheese with pineapple, Green Tea 18.00 Soup (usually 300 cal) or Vegetables with Meat (chicken usually) 21.00 150g Cottage Cheese My only drinks are water and green tea. My exercise will consist of a morning run 7 days a week, and football 1-2 times a week (60 mins 5aside) How can this be improved? Been making attempts like this for years but has never really happened.

How long is your run? It will need to be over 30 mins for a good amount of fat loss. The structure there looks ok, but it will depend on the portion sizes

I don't know how long the run is yet as I haven't yet started it. I do tend to prefer running faster for a shorter run What would you suggest considering it would be 7 days a week?

Hi, It looks good, obviously we don't know how much priority you give to muscle, if you want to keep as much as you can and don't like the 'endurance' type look it might be worth adding a protein shake on top of your banana at mid morning and doing H.I.I.T using sprints and stair running, will do nicely burning fat whilst adding muscle. If it is a case of just losing weight in total than everything looks good. I would recommend in writing all your food and excersise in a journal to keep motivated. Good luck
