Weight catergories as per 59 kg, 66 kg, 74 kg, 83 kg, 93 kg, 105 kg, 120 kg, 120 kg+ as for qualifying totals then I believe it's individual to the federation and whether equipped or not. I'd say don't worry about qualifying for anything. Just get involved in divisionals for the experience and to set your own bar. If you're good enough to qualify for more then that's a bonus.

good advice Ed, thats exactly what I am doing! Waiting for all my registration to come back, am nowhere near the qualifying total for my bodyweight yet, but get involved now, set myself the target of beating myself everytime and take it from there! they say its a great community so who knows until you try it!

BPC total above is equipped. They do 'Raw' meets now and not sure what qualifying totals will be for that?

I thought the IPF changed the weight categories across the board mid 2011??

IPF is only 1 international fed (biggest mind you), and only the GBPF is affiliated to it in the UK. So that leaves the rest of the UK feds (whom have nothing to do with IPF) using the tradditional weight classes; BPC, BPO and BDFPA. Same situation globally.

Everyday is a day at school Glad I'm with the IPF then or I'd have to lose an extra half a kilogram. I'm struggling with the last 2lbs for 83kg as it is

I am competing for GBPF again this year and I get an extra 3kg! Off course it won't feel quite right not be a 90kg lifter... if I do any pbs it won't be under 90kg anymore. Actually considering still coming in under 90 lol Although TBH even if I didn't do that it would really just mean I can have breakfast and eat properly the day before!!

3kg is a very comfortable eating range for you to be playing with isn't it. I reckon you could even get a few cream cakes in the day before I've just got back from buying my Titan leotard. I don't think I'll ever feel right calling it a leotard. It is surprisinly comfortable though. It seems their sizing charts are wrong or I'm a very small 83kg as the medium was definitely the right size for me and that's for 57-68kg

Call it a singlet. Send it back to supplyer and get a diff size. Can only ever be a rough guide. Tbh mine total singlet is the only singlet that didnt last. Went in the croutch. My inzer wrestling singlet has lasted since '05. I regulary train in it too.

I ordered a Singlet from Pullum before christmas but they failed to deliver as they are waiting for stock. Fortunately a guy who attends Hatchford Brook used to own a sports shop and he had a couple of medium sized inzer and titan singlets left. The medium Inzer practically cut me in half. It was like being really agressively cupped. The Titan however fitted nicely. Good job Pullum failed to deliver as I'd ordered a large from them.

I'm looking around at different powerlifting feds and testing etc...how many feds are there and what is their stance on drug use? Is there just the feds listed above? The GBPF (tested) the BDFPA (tested) and I can't find the BPC so tested or untested?
