    Nasty, I don't like your ankle pics they've made me squirm but at least you've got back to fitness!Many would have just used it as an excuse not to.

      Evening all....yes, I don't do things by halves (boom, boom) it was totally wrecked, it caused 8 weeks in cast and weeks of physio as I refused to be pinned and plated - still 18mths down the line, I lost weight and started training properly because of it.....so can't complain to much lol!!
       
      Ok, this week training went a bit belly up with only 2 sessions, however I have managed to lose 1.5lbs...yay! I am going to bust down the gym tomorrow and slip in an hours cardio as I could really do with burning some problems away lol!!
      As from Monday, the big push kicks off, happy days!! But I am in a huge grump today as started Keto yesterday......I actually dreamed about diet coke last night.....

          Ok, so I don't like to boast but I have major man flu and still managed to train tonight - granted it wasn't the best session in the world as I was coughing a lot, but it did clear people away from my space so I managed to struggle through! Did a leg session as just could not face doing chest and back whilst coughing, my abs are going to be amazing now though as coughing and doing leg press was making me use a lot of control! Buns of steel to.
           
          Seriously had to force food down my neck today...I hate that! There is nothing more off putting than cold chicken when you feel like [link=mailto:cr@p]cr@p[/link]!! Still I've done it......and now craving junk food!
           
          So I am off to neck a ton of vit C and feel sorry for myself....violins please!

            I  use zinc for colds helps me alot. I have alot of diet coke when dieting it has never been a problem helps keep me sane. as long as you are drinking plenty of water shouldnt be a problem. Good luck with your goals.

              Careful you training with major man flu! Don't be counter productive, if you need to rest, you need rest, stick to the diet and you'll be ok. I'm being a complete wooss at moment

                L-Glut
                Plenty of fluids
                Caffeine where required for a boost
                Olbas oil in bath and or oil burner to clear your head - but no constantly because they you get used to it
                Ibuprofen for aches
                Tickly cough, chew gum - yes and I've even done this at night so I can sleep, and no I didn't wake up choking.
                 
                My arsenal for colds, can usually carry on training and recover in 3-4 days.

                    Aww thanks Titch, Fi, Gingernut and Mergal....I am pumped full of everything and also now have a super bad ear ache.....I am trying to take it easy......however....I did go for a little 5 mile run this evening I can't helllllpppppp myself, I get paranoid! But I did opt out of using weights tonight as I just feel weak and pap!!!
                     
                    I have also only managed to consume one chicken breast and thats it.....I genuinely think I will be sick if I put anything else down!!
                     
                    Its blumming typical of my life, tomorrows my b'day and I am going to spend it on my own as can't see my family whilst I have the lurgies because my dad is having an op on Thursday (MRSA and all that) and none of them can afford to catch this. Its actually quite amusing! I will go training tomorrow night & have a can of soup to celebrate 
                     
                    Still on the plus side, I nailed my fastest run to date and managed a good 20 mins on the x-trainer afterwards

                          LOL @ titch, I had half a muffin and a diet coke!
                           
                          Thats my thoughts GN, anyway the older you get the more you want the day to pass quickly lol!
                           
                          So anyways I have succumbed and have a full blown cough/cold type thing, so have bailed on training - good news is I have lost 2lbs this week! So I feel slightly better as its really only been a half hearted effort - so just you wait until I get all my guns blazing!!!                               Got back into training again tonight.....chest still a lil dodge and I didn't eat at all today apart from 1/4 of a sarnie, but blumming good effort if I do say so myself!

                                Hey, hey, still going strong!!
                                 
                                Have lost another 1lb again this week , so now 11lbs and 3/4......cannot wait to get back into the 10's again! Clearly things have start working for me as even I noticed my legs looked less chubby yesterday and clothes becoming loose again! The great thing is I am at that stage of feel energetic all the time! At last.....
                                 
                                Diet wise, clearly it's being pretty good. Trying to drop into keto during the week and then "light cheating" at the weekend, which is working well for me!
                                 
                                This week I reintroduce weights, which I am looking forward to......I've felt like wuss at the gym without them!!

                                      I know I have been realllly bad at keeping my journal up to date....but I am practically driving all over the UK at the moment with work!!
                                       
                                      Ok, so diet...not brilliant but not super bad either. This weekend I went away with my girlies friends and there was a lot of food consumption along with wine!! But ho hum! I am keeping clean during the week and then cheating out at the weekends. However I am thinking I may have to sacrifice the weekend cheats for a while to get things happening. I'm just not happy/satisfied that I am losing weight enough, I know my body and know it aint happy about dropping the lbs right now, so its either the cheats or I am under eating. So we'll see which it is by my powers of deduction!
                                       
                                      Training is going well.....which in my terms means I am actually still going to the gym without finding excuses. Something has clicked with this as I have had quite a few people mention that I look like I have lost weight (even though its only been about a 4lb weight drop) and that my legs look better! Yay!
                                       
                                      New tactics this week.....up the training again (my gawd it's getting harder) and try to remain as clean as possible with my diet without under eating....!! I'm not going to weigh myself now for 2 weeks as its to depressing and then I will take measurements again just to see if something is happening!
