Competed last week in the leeds ukbff classic class 09 October 2011 14:54 (permalink)
Alright guys as some of you know i competed in the leeds ukbff show sunday just gone. classic class and placed 3rd out of 16 or 18 and was a very tough class.

Im over the moon with my placing and steping on stage 12 lb heavier in better condition than the year before.

Also want to say a big well done to johny french my good pal who i preped for the inter O90 and he came 2nd. big lad and at 23 has a bring future in the last 2.5 years we hae taken him from 14 stone 7 to 19 stone 3 heaviest then down to just under 16 on stage.

pic of us both attactched belowwith pat warner in his gym as well as a few pics of me

Should also add a big thanks to Body temple as being a rep for them made it financally easier on me as this sport isnt cheap at all.

Plans are to improve and add more size this year and move to the u90 as i only have around 6-7lb more limit in the classics and i intend to add another 12 lb stage weight as i did this year :)

Thought it was a great show and was good meeting a fellow classic Daz c off here plus another few guys on other boards.  bodybuilding is a very friendly sport for sure

height on the day was 180.5 cm.  so they said i could have been 88.5kg.  i thought i was 179.5 which would have meant my limit was 86kg so u have to be v careful.

give it a go mate its well worth it

yes mate aim was top 3 and i got it.  they kept us up their for 15 mins apparantly arguing who should be placed were in the top 3.  kerry pointed out to the audience how much crosses etc their was on the score sheet.

looking at the pics and vids i seem to have a more balanced physique than 1st and 2nd were as they had more stand out body parts such as 2nd better shoulders/chest and 1st better legs and tighter round the waist but it just depends how the judges see it on the day.

Highlight was for me coming back to pump up room and all the mr class guys asking me if i came 1st or 2nd.  when i told them 3rd they all started kicking off saying no way etc.  id never laid eyes on these guys so to get opinions and responses like that from ure peers so to speak who dont even know u meant an aweful lot.

i put on 12 lb of stage weight this year in just as good or better condition so am very happy.

                        cheers james,

really enjoyed this prep more than my first one.  listened to my body more and found i am better lowering cals and doing less cardio.  highest amount being 5 lots of 40 mins per week for the last 2 weeks.

also played with a different carb up method and it worked better and i already know how to improve it further.
