Contest Prep: Dream Tan - Vazkulizer v Pro Tan - Blow Out, Hot Action Pre-Training Gel

Hi Guys
I'd like to know if anyone has experience of using Dream Tan Vazkulizer and ideally someone who has also used Pro Tan Blow Out, Hot Action Pre-Training Gel that can possibly give me a comparison.

I have a competition in 7 weeks and need to maximize my vascularity as I'm up against someone who I can only describe as a human road map and literally more vascular than the pro's.

I'm hoping that someone will have experience of one or ideally both products and can give me some feedback.   Not sure if these kind of products are allowed or not backstage so information on that would also be helpful.   If it's of any relevance I'm competing with Nabba and the PCA during this years competitions.

Vascularity does not necessarily mean someone will be placed higher! The person with the better package of muscularity and symmetry would look better than someone with less muscle and no shape but lots of veins!!

I disagree with your statement and have personal experience of it although the other guys condition was "slightly" better but the vascularity was much better.   I'm very sure that other than that I would beat him on every other aspect so I'm looking to close the gaps on those that he would have scored higher on.....

So many people think they're better than someone else on stage and all their mates tell them they should have won/ Unless you're in the judges seat and looking from the best vantage point then it's difficult to judge. Seeing someone in the changing area can give a false impression. It's quite likely the guy not only had better condition but also better structure. If you both had equal structure and his condition was better than perhaps that's what swung it but you can certainly have good condition without vascularity. Rich Gaspari was known for his vascularity but he never won the Olympia ;-)

I'm not up my own ass and I absolutely know I can be beaten in any competition but I know that he did not have better structure than me (I'll happily inbox you comparisons).  His condition was "slightly" better but I think with the crazy vascularity he has it makes his condition look a little bit better again.   As I said earlier I need to remove the gap with the condition which I absolutely will do but looking to enhance vascularity a little.

It was very close last year (I saw the judges scorecards) and this year I have to make it look like I am BY FAR ahead of him.   With that said even if I achieve that then I can obviously be beaten by someone else but if they're going to beat me then they will deserve it because I know I will have given it everything I've got.

I feel like I have whinged on and I'm not that type of competitor or person.   The guy beat me fair and square and he looked fantastic.  He is the champ and it's up to me to prove I'm worthy of taking his place.

Anyway I bought both of the products I asked for reviews about and neither work (lol).

Not thinking you're up your own arse at all mate. From the judging table I've seen the look of disappointment and disbelief on many a competitors face when someone they considered themselves to be better than ends up beating them. It could all simply be down to how you present your poses. I've seen many a good physique lose out because they can't pose well. Just trying to suggest it's not all down to vascularity.

You've not whinged, you're trying to find the edge, work on as much as you can to get ahead. Good luck.

That's the other thing though my posing was pretty good in all of the comparison shots and he shakes like hell which obviously looks very bad.   I practiced 20-30 minutes twice a day for months leading up to the competition and that showed in the posing BUT I would definitely say his individual routine was much better than mine and whilst I know you aren't supposed to get scored on that my thoughts are if a contest is neck and neck (as it was) then the routine will likely play a factor and therefore that's an area I'm spending more time on again and putting a lot of classical shots into mine this year and making it more flowing and effortless.

I'm also very hard on myself really because I've only been competing since late 2015 and the other guy has been doing it 20 years so I will just get in better condition and changing a few things in the last week to "uncomplicate" things i.e. no depletion/load this time as I don't feel it works for me.

Thanks for the good luck message
