Cycle advice (cut/recomp)
10 February 2012 16:03
( permalink)
Hi guys Getting near the end of my long cut - been trying to cut pretty much since jan '10. In this time I have gone from almost 20st to 15st. I am 27,6ft and have been training around 7 years. I am planning to run a 6 week cycle in 6 weeks time and am looking for some advice on options. Cycle must be oral only unfortunately. I still have a wee bit of fat to go and could do with hardening up. Calories will be kept around maintenance. I'm thinking var, tbol or winni with maybe some t3?

If you are looking at a 6 weeker then Tbol or Winny would be best bet considering your goals mate with some T3 would work fine. Congratulations on your progress so far, that is great going, keep it up and keep us posted mate!! Bigfella.

That's great news well done you must be very proud of such an achievement. Did you get some before pictures? I wish I had before I dieted, I went from a 44" waist to a 32" when I got back into training 3 or so years ago, it's nice to compare the difference :-) it keeps you motivated. Best of luck with the last bit. M

Thanks guys. I'm proud of my achievement. However, if you had asked at the start did I think I needed to lose 5st I would've said no and I'm pretty disappointed that iv lost 5st and I'm still not ripped. To be honest iv prob lost more than that cos in the last two years I have done 4 PH cycles and also used clen and eph a few times. Anyway, I'm thinking winni at 50mg/day for 5 weeks with 50mcg T3 (tapering on and off) calories around maintenance?!?

I was 107 kilos mate, I hated myself and walking into the gym was the hardest thing I ever did. looking at a fat bloke that just looked pregnant in the mirrors was so embarassing it will be branded in my head for ever! I'll never forget! If I manage to get on stage this year it will be the proudest day of my adult life! I'm gonna bust my balls trying M

Good on you m8, I weigh 96 kg at the min, really heavy for me. 36-38 inch waist 5 foot 10. Was 12% bf like 4-5 months ago, got to get motivated to get back down to my preferred bf. Trouble is I hate this time of year and I feel constantly stressed at the min. I get s.a.d. really bad, I feel like I've got jet lag all the time, and got a confused body clock

any more opinions on the most suitable med for my goals? I'm struggling to decide between tbol or winni for 5-6 weeks with maybe the addition of t3. I'm undecided about winstrol after reading about how negatively it seems to affect the HDL/LDL

I'm undecided about winstrol after reading about how negatively it seems to affect the HDL/LDL Winstrol, 50mg ed for 6 weeks. Im currently doing it and bridging into PCT with it. Only other thing you can look at is the PH known as "Ripped-58" or "Shreded Body Stack" by Dragon Nutrition.

I have the same problem with trousers, thighs are too big to buy trousers made for people with a small waist. I'm around 28" thigh now. I tend to buy gasp trousers, smaller waist but much bigger legs shame they are so expensive! M

Getting lean is achievement in itself but the road from lean to ripped is tougher so keep this in mind. I dont think you'd get ripped by keeping calories at the maintenance level. Operating at a very low % of bodyfat is unnatural to your body (unless you are a severe ectomorph). So if your body gets enough calories to maintain why would it burn bodyfat ?

Good work on the weight loss - stay focussed & like the others have said above try to dip your cals to below maintenance for a better result off the cycle - i'd taper them down by 100 cals eod that way you don't feel too hungry

So you guys think that whichever 6 week cycle I embark on I should keep the cals in a deficit? In the last 4 weeks I dropped from 2500 down to 2000 cos I had stopped losing and it started to work again. I have just started today on the dave palumbo keto diet for 6 weeks then after the 6 weeks I am planning to start my cycle. I guess I will have to wait and see how lean I am after the keto before I decide how to attack the diet while on cycle?!?!

15st on 2000cal F***** Hell thats a hell of a deficit ! The reason you stopped dropping bodyfat while on 2500cal is not the abundance of calories but the absence of carbs.. as you mentioned a keto diet so I guess you are not taking in any carbs. That is prby why you look flat as well. Past a certain point you should try to trick your body into continuing burning fat by making it believe the starvation is over (by increasing the amount of or incorporating carbs into your diet). What is the point of getting all your daily calories from protein (and possibly fat) since you are not on a AAS cycle and your body prbly do not utilize all of it anyway?
