conditioning not somthing i am ever going to attempt

*tell a lie i atchualy went for a jog with an over weight client the other day round finsbury park london, fcuk me i had to go for a pint after i was shatterd

JOG?!?!? F*cking JOG?? what the hell are you playing at scott?

If i try to jog, my shins kindly tell me they are slowly bowing, and i kid you not, i`m tired within around 20seconds, and it takes around 5mins to recover, i do not run

Shat really, i used to do a mile and a half in about 11mins, i used to be an alrite all rounder.

Prepare to see more of this conditioning malarky scott, when i can do the above without my lungs hanging out, i foresee some Boar-esque circuits coming in, oh ye

    Chest, everything paused.

    Flat Bench

    26kg x 10
    46kg x 5
    66kg x 2
    79kg x 1 - feeling quite good here
    90kg x 1
    95kg x 1 - deffinately good, triceps strong
    95kg x 1
    95kg x 1
    95kg x 1

Felt good from the get go, happy days.

Incline, about 45, touch and go

    46kg x 15

    Notes

Experimenting with warming up, then 4 single work sets, got it wrong today, too light.

Next week, 97kg for 4 paused singles is the aim, felt smashing today.

This always seems to happen when my cardio improves, the weights go up.

Back out for cardio at 7:30.

Nice session that mate, still think you should step the volume up though, i meen your whole workout is done in less than 20 reps!

Lol i didnt notice it was that few, it sounds pathetic when you say that , i arnt as focused on size now tbh mate, i do grow on low reps though, i`ll start adding more drop down sets in, my chest was really pumped after the last set, if i do more on the way up, ive got nothing left for my heavier work sets.

Thinking about it though, only 4-5 of those were work reps anyway, the rest is just warming up.

My aim now is, dare i say it, more towards the mens health kind of look *runs and hides* and a decent level of strength, hence why i`m going mad on the cardio.

Next session, i`ll throw in more sets just for you mate.

Tbh mate i dont care what people say mens health is still alot of work to achieve and i give credit to them!

Do what i do, go from heavy to light throughout the workout, i can blow myself out in as little as 2 sets if i am not careful then have nothing left.

Ye, some of the fella`s in there are in decent nick, i just need something to aim at really, cant chase strenght, i havnt got the equipment, so i`m going to go for lean, or i`ll just fumble about having sh.it sessions all the time, going nowhere.

I`ll have a see next session mate, i`ll mimic that last session, except it will be 97kg for the 4 singles.

I wont be able to manage much weight after that though i`ll burn out fast, so i`ll drop to something like 50kg for a few sets of 10.

Thanks for your input mate, i seem to just forget the things i was intending to do lol.

As long as your having fun mate, if i didnt want to compete my training would be totally differance (would probly enjoy it more).

Why not just by a power rack a oly bar and another 100kg of wieght you could pick that up for a bout 200-300 mate.

Because i`m so skint its unbelievable lol, i think my dad is getting a set up soon though, he wants to turn the garage into a gym, because everyone in our house trains, we have already got a treadmill, rower, bike, bench and my weights in there.

Would you aim more towards strength do you think? Sickens me to think where you could go on that with a bit of low rep work.

The only thing that pisses me off about my ghetto set up is the pulling, i cant deadlift heavy, and its my favorite exercise, and i`m built for it but i arnt in a position to buy more kit atm.

Make it priority to get some more kit mate, even if it meens paying your dad back.

I think if i did it purly for enjoy ment i would do mostly shoulder, tri, chest work - proper bicep boy

Ive got a few bits and bobs i should be able to shift on soon, so i`ll be able to buy a bit then i think.

Do you not like training legs mate?

Makes me feel sick, due to lactic acid build up, i suffer from it bad.

                            66kg x 3
                            86kg x 3
                            99kg x 3
                            112kg x 3
                            112kg x 3
                            112kg x 3

                            Barbell Bent Over Row

Parallel to the floor, thumbless grip.

                            46kg x 8
                            59kg x 8
                            66kg x 8
                            74kg x 5 + 1/2

                            59kg x 8
                            46kg x 8

                            Experiment

                            Towel T-bar Row

                            40kg x 8
                            60kg x 4

Weights were slipping down, as i said its just a peice of metal not a bar.

                            Notes

Bit more volume on the rowing to keep Scott happy.

Would like to keep going with the towel t-bars when i get a bar, they feel good.

                            Alrite session tonight.

Some good stuff in here mate!

Do you train on ya lonesome?

I find that when i train by myself i have about half hour of good training then i just lose focus/cant be arsed.

You should look into getting some ephidrine if your wanting to cut up, havnt used it myself but heard good things and its a half decent way of justifying doing a bit of speed.

                                Thanks mate , hows things?

Ye i train alone mate, i actually find i get better sessions in to be honest, get in the right mindset, then i`m off, had a mate come round a few times, but hes too funny to train with, handy to have on bench days though for confidence.

Plus training at home, its a right ball ache training with someone not as strong as you.

Lol, i arnt up for anything like that bud, i dont drink, dont smoke, dont do any drugs, dont eat junk food, and dont take anything you cant get from food i know its not a serious sup, and it would be easier if i took it, but i`m natural in every sense of the word, cheers for dropping in and suggesting it though mate.

Cardio session in a minute, joy of joys....

Been like this for ages mate, used to eat **** food all the time, ended up starving myself thin, then i learned how to do things properly, the clean eating came in, wanted to get big, started with weights, and it stuck, i feel better eating clean, i just binge too often.

The drinking, i used to drink quite heavily, it was fcuking my gains up, and generally made me feel **** drinking a few nights a week, so knocked that on the head, and its stuck.

I also used to smoke skunk every day, was normally an 1/8th each night, so nothing mad, but no other drugs have interested me at all.

I like the idea of staying natural too, should be interesting to see where i can go.

Everytime i touch a keyboard, i end up spiraling into a right fcuking rant, i`m sorry chap

No training yesterday, legs today, but my left knee is cause me a lot of problems today, very very painful, so i`m not going to aggravate it, fcuking pissing me off now though.

Some little bastards tried nicking some stuff of my motor though my old man spotted them mid act though, shouted at them, they legged it, i wasnt dressed or i would have been straight out, had a quick look out my window so i could chase the cnuts.

Cue me catching them up the road, not had a shave in a week, dirty, in a black hoody, shouting in a very deep voice at the wankers. The biggest one looked like he was about to piss his pants, grabbed him round his neck and threw him over a wall so if they started i wasnt out numbered Little one was certain he wasnt trying to steal anything from me, sent him down to argue with my old man, bigger one legged it.

Managed to find out where he lived within about 3minutes lol, went round, his dad came out and i could tell he was going to be violent from his body language, so i prepared myself, when he looked up and saw me he changed his mind though lol.

Gets his lad come up, gives him a bollocking, i give him a bollocking, other lads mum comes down, she gives her lad a slap and a bollocking lol, i tell them cough a few quid up or i`ll belt them both and then call it quits, dad makes his lad cough up lol.

So, they both coughed up from their own money, parents arnt happy with em, managed to crush one of the lads hand on the sly when i departed too lol.

Would have been better if i had caught them mid act, i would have beat **** out of both of them with my broom handle and they are lucky my dad didnt get them, because hes violent and i`m not.

Well they wont be doing that for a while anyway

Nice rant there, i hate ****s like that i take care of my car too, so i`ll be fcuked if someones taking stuff off it without me saying something.
