Yes it quite literally is just a case of me being too shy to go up to someone and start a convo I find it difficult on a night out so considering doing it in the gym is a daunting prospect :-/

I keep doing that thing where you look at someone and think ooo they're nice then they look up and see you looking so I think oh **** and look in another direction lol. I'm not very good at this kinda thing haha.

I'm going to stop looking then hopefully someone will come along surely if I go to the gym 5 days a week every week someone's going to say hi, eventually.... Here's hoping.

Is there a water fountain near/in the weights area? Saunter over and use it when relevent men are nearby, someone will soon say hi

On a serious note, I used the site Guardiansoulmates a few years back, met some nice genuine women on there. A female friend of mine who uses it says the guys are ok too.

Personallly I think the gym is a lousy place to meet people.
 
When Im in the gym Im there to work. Even if a fit woman came up to me and started talking she'd probably only get a 'hi' and a smile.
